When People Don't Comment On Your Posts

ummmm...i was lyin' about the BJ's .......
Didn't your mother tell you to NOT believe everything you read on the internet?

hey - but now I know who the 4 horny little fuckers are who can't get one on their own.

Feel bad? Nope. My posts rarely generate comments so I'm not too concerned. If I started getting a lot, then I'd get suspicious. :)

Please, nobody's going to suspect an old man to be the world's most dangerous top super-secret agent

Unless...

I like commenting on posts asking for help. Usually my responses are hit or miss.. And I frequently have the fear that I've killed a topic after I posted.

this thread has gotten quite crazy.

first it was about "comments' then it was about "commenting on a post in another post - -that's like 2 very different things !!

There is a sticky now about "COMMENTS" I saw it somewhere.

Posting in a thread is NOT a 'comment" althought you can reference another post and {comment} on that post in your own post.
Still - not using the "comment" function (which is private)

I rarely get any comments anymore.

It doesn't bother me because I'm not posting to get comments. If I want to be funny or serious or whatever with my posts, I'm doing it because it's fun.

I hardly give out comments anymore. I do however leave disgusting, obscene and hurtful comments to Absolut and Lilbit.

No. I make cameos on both sites about one week every three months, so I'm not too emotionally invested.

And I always get slightly nervous when no one comments on a post that I believed was side-splitting hilarious. I start to worry if I said anything that might have unintentionally offended someone. lol

Yeah I used to worry about that but don't let that stop you. If it makes you laugh, you have succeeded. ..|

maybe we should replace the speech bubble with a penis? I'd bet it would get more clicks ;)

I was thinking comments in general, either here, on facebook, etc. This came up because I had posted a comment in another thread which I felt was pertinent to the original topic, but nobody responded to it and I felt a bit skipped over.

I just don't have the time I used to to put myself back in the mix here at JUB and other internet forums, but it shouldn't matter if my comment is worthy. This brings us to another question what's more important - the comment, or the individual posting the comment?

I don't really care.

I do wonder sometimes here on JUB if anyone has me ignore.

There's a couple people I seem to rub the wrong way for whatever reason.

Regardless of the mode, I'm a feedback junkie. I admit it. This forum is too large to take it personally if my posts get buried or if people are busy with other things. I'm meeting all sorts of great people here and some relationships start with a comment. I try to let people know when something they posted was worthwhile, interesting, whatever.

Edit: okay, I feel just a little bit bad if I thought I made a good post and was ignored.

...either here on JUB or facebook, do you feel bad?

No. I'd just chalk it up to people just not being interested in that particular thread/comment. I've started threads where no one responded then I'd start another and 50 people would respond within the first couple of hours.

](*,)](*,).

they're boring and the content sucks. of course that could be said of the postings also.

I don't mind people responding to my posts, but I do check my JUB gallery a few times a week, (o.k.---every day, lol) and am disappointed that I have no photo comments, and very few views...except my own! Don't people look at peoples galleries here anymore? :)

I hardly get any responses ever which is disheartening but I've almost gotten used to it. Been on this site since '05 and haven't connected with one person yet. Really don't know why I keep coming back. I guess I just find some of the posts interesting to read and I check out the porn occasionally.
