When stressed, how do you deal with it?

Loud music, chocolate and slamming the doors. Also finding someone to bitch about whatever's bugging me. (my mates must be sick of me by now)
 
Luckily I see my therapist once a week, he's a god sent. Listen to music, David Bowie, the Stones, and the Beatles do wonders. Working (my job) actually helps me keep distracted it's a form of destressing b/c I can creative, authoritative, and respected.

Drinking tea, kombucha, or eating a bit of chocolate.
 
Sports ... go running it will clear your mind and afterwards a good shower and a nice sleep ;)

Oh yes! Unfortunately, my gym is over an hour away. My mum lives there to, so I do take the trip sometimes. But it's not really convenient.

Excellent way of de-stressing, though!
 
I find taking a long brisk walk is good therapy. Bitching to a friend usually works too. I've also been known to punch something but I only hit something that is inanimate, won't break, and is not going to break my fist.
 
well deep breathing excerises work,

a walk somewhere quiet and this will sound weird but pick up a leaf and look into it, feel it, wipe out all the noises there are and concentrate on the leaf. it actually works,

sit and listen to the type of music that isn't an upbeat like dance but a type that allows you to find peace within yourself

when in rehab I learnt several ways but damn if I can think of them

reading a book, or something smooling spelt wrong

do a puzzel
 
SEX!

(and when not dating... my right hand takes care of it ;))
