When you edit a post do you leave a reason why?

I never have.

I use to leave reason because of spelling errors and add more words when i first started to post on this forum but never now.

sometimes i say "improper punctuation" or, " i forgot a comma". Who reads that anyway?

like what for example?

I remember a poster a while ago that use to write off topic things in it. I don't even know if he really edited anything or not. Others just write some things that could be taken more than one way. Just look out for them and you will see while maybe getting a laugh out of it.

Only for spelling errors usually - I do proofread before I submit but sometimes an error will get by me. !oops!

Okay Vanti, I'll bite and nibble. What does "Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me videre" mean?

No. It is usually due to my crappy spelling or grammer (then English is my second language). I usually hope no-one has read the post before my edit. I tend to type too fast and check spelling only later (and propably still miss some...;) )

I hope you forgive guys (whose english isn't the native language) for mistakes.

Not easy to avoid spelling or grammatical mistakes and improve one's level in english if those who english is the native language make mistakes.

By the way, can you explain what means "leave a reason". I haven't found a translation which has satisfied me.

(reason for edit at bottom hehehehe)

I probably edit about one in 20 of my posts.

Almost always it's because I decide to add something.

I don't remember being REQUIRED to give a reason for editing a post but, as long ass I can remember, the option has always been there (I think).
