I hate music in porn but I like music during sex. It gives a rhythm to things since most people change their movements to match the beat. As for the type of music I like to have sex to, electric/progressive house/dance because they mix their beats up so it's not just one monotonous rhythm.

I know that I've had sex to music at least once - but I don't really remember what was playing. I would love to explore it, but that would require trial and error. And the trial and error would require regular sex with someone knowing that all the music we are trying out has a purpose - I.e. A boyfriend, and I don't have one of those.
