comedy is a genre that, like rap, has become flooded and oversatured cuz everybody thinks they're good at it now. my fb feed is filled with "aspiring comedians" who rely in stale tropes (and for the "straight" guys putting on a wig and ghetto affectations to mock women but i suspect this is more to act out their homoerotic fantasies cuz they're all clearly on the DL and have waaaay too much fun playing female characters). And apparently reacting to stuff and making big "OHMYGOSH" eyes is now its own separate genre.

Just like hollywood, the content that get pushed the most is whoever's hot and looks good in skimpy clothes-- a feature they play on cuz there's always a "fresh out the shower" or changing clothes or in the pool skit, and let's not even talk about these dudes with the basketball shorts. !oops! THEY KNOW WHAT THEY DOIN!

ANYWAY, who's new and funny? I'm subscribed to way too many news feeds and would like some humor on my timeline but, god bless my friends, they don't have the best taste in comedy. Bonus points for rainbow gang comedians.

If you guys don't put me on to some new shit I'm gonna have to rewatch Dave Chappelle and all 457 seasons of South Park to carry me through the fall.

Retta is HILARIOUS! Love her, Bert Krischer is funny (kind of cute too if you're into big bears), Big Jay Oakerson (again if you like bears hes cute with short buzzed hair), George Carlin rest his soul THE LEGEND! Also Anjelah Johnson about nail salons is funny, there is also this midget comedian Tanyalee Davis fucking gold!!! She was talking about making people uncomfortable kissing her regular size boyfriend in the park by slapping his hand away saying "Daddy Stop that!!" I damn near pissed my pants when she said that! Jeff Dunham love Walter Achmed and Peanut!

Loved Retta on Parks N Rec and Good girls, and Anjelah Johnson will always be the queen!

Ack, I thought I hit reply hours ago.^_^

Have you seen The Mighty Boosh? I'll watch those two doing anything. It's eccentric though. May not be for everyone. I got some Baileys!

Mr. Chap elle and I are not on good terms. It can be a problem that these guys are up there to do anything literally anything for a laugh.

Oh, Lady Dynamite! Two seasons. Her wise pug sounds like Werner Herzog.:luv:

And of course there is Chubby Brown and it seems Jerry Sadowitz is an up and coming one to watch ;)

You're in the right lane but I need recommendations from this century. I meant to put "new" in the thread title. I'm legit not gonna smoke any more weed while I'm posting.

Oh em gee I thought I was the only one who does that. ](*,)

Not gonna lie, 85% of british humor goes over my head. And you're going to forgive Dave and you're gonna forgive him NOW! :spank:

Hmmm let's check out the cast shall we? Oh! Fred Melamed, Ana Gasteyer? Ok, I'm sold. I hope it's still available on streaming, I haven't seen the banner in a while.

Blasphemy! Seth Macfarlane, Matt Groening and Trey Parker are the gods of offensive humor. Thou shalt put no other gods before thee.

Vinnie Favorite is by far my favorite stand up.

Any of the All Def people. DoBoy, Kev On Stage, Teddy Ray, MegScoop, Patrick Cloud, Tony Baker and Tahir Moore are my favorites.

Cristela Alonzo

And many more I can't think of their name at the moment,

Have you tried Bob Hope? Jack Benny?

I don't know if comedy teams count but Abbott and Costello are kind of funny.

Is that Dr. Who?!
I’m one of these americans dedicated to a BDSM love affair with britain. They sneer and jeer and smack us around, call us fat, and we say “Have I mentioned your accent’s to die for darling? Oh, I did? Four times already today?” *lowers pants for next spanking
Bit like Pepe le Pew

Gasteyer will make you "choke on your own jizz" baby!

Now I'm reminded of Strangers with Candy. Please tell me you've seen that show?

:rotflmao::rotflmao:Ahhhh attack of the grandpas. Where'd you beeches hide the grandpa spray?

I do love Chaplin.

I caught it once or twice as a child and was like WHAT THE EFF? I remember one skit where they sang a song about an enormous penis.
