Wow, this thread has brought back some HOT blasts from the past--guys like Steve Henson, Jeff Quinn, and Michael Brawn. I can't begin to think about the number of loads I've blown watching these studs!

This thread has also gotten me thinking about how funny and fickle fame is. I suppose this is true of mainstream actors as well, but I think about how crazy it is in porn when a guy is the man of the hour--it seems like he's in every other movie that's released, makes the box covers, gets written about in blogs...for a time, he's the shit! And then....he just disappears, never to be heard from again.

I wonder why that happens. Does the guy just get tired of doing porn? Do his family/friends/employer find out and he's embarrassed? Does he want to have a "respectable" life and leave porn behind, spending the rest of his life hoping that no one ever finds out his dirty little secret? Is it just a phase that he went through to say he did it and it's something in 20/30 years he can look back at and say, damn, I was hot and that was a fantastic experience I'm glad I got to have?

My uninformed theory is they have limited 'shelf-life'. Gay porn - especially vintage - was mostly obsessed with youth and 'twinks' so there is a very short time between 'legal age' and 'over the hill'. I imagine most of them started in their early-to-mid 20's so after a couple of years, the studio would quickly dump them for the next lot of boys.....

I also imagine that some of them got so fucked up on drugs that some studios wouldn't - or maybe even couldn't - use them.
