I happenned to see Stryker in P-town in 2007 promoting his one man show - advertised as erotic-comedy. Although he's visibly a middle aged man, he clearly takes good care of himself. I didn't see the show - which was said to have full frontal - but I spoke with him before. He's surprisingly short, very sexy, and more charming than one would expect from a porn star. When I joked that I spent my adolescence holding his poster up with one hand, he looked non-plussed for a second, got the joke, broke down in gales of laughter, and gave me a hug. He's not the cold sex machine he's been made out to be.

I've mentioned before, maybe on JUB, that in the late 80s, at the top (no pun intended) of his game, I met Jeff going into the French Market in WeHo. He'd just parked his gold Corvette in the parking lot, was going in to check his PO Box. I said to him that back home in NJ, we called Corvettes "rich Jersey Boy" cars. He laughed & said someone had actually mentioned that to him. We spoke of some other things, I told him I was a fan. He thanked me. I found him the same as you did, warm, friendly, funny. Not sure if those stories are accurate. I would love for them to "unretire" and do something new together (maybe back with Kink.com?). But mostly I'd love to know how they're doing. It's nice to hear stories of former porn stars who move on to happily do other things without bitterness or regret.
