Scandinavian, german, UK (scots, english, irish, & welsh), & whispers of french & native american. Is that not a "melting pot"?

Depends on how far back you go :

Father's side 100 % Dutch (Friesland) for 6 generations, then we get a German forefather in there somewhere.

Mother's side 100 % Dutch (Zeeland) for some 9 generations, then there's a link to France and Italy (Florence).

German on both sides as far back as I've ever traced. Lots of last names that start with K and that cause a lot of spittle to fly when you say them correctly.

Oh no, not the whole 'bloodline percentage' thing again. #-o

Oh well, it won't be long before some US Jubber posts something along the lines of 'I'm 128th Native American'. :rotflmao:

100% Bengali
Hah - that got your attention didnt it?

Primarily Swiss, with some Dutch and a little Scotist.
Percentages, I do not believe it is appropriate, for how
DNA works is not in percentages, but in proving a
particular blood line.

with a last name like "Smith," it's hard to track all of them, but I do know the list includes:
  • Irish
  • German
  • Swedish
  • Bohemian
  • Cherokee
  • Possibly more

I consider myself 100% American. My lineage goes back to before the 1600's before it shows any European connection. My great aunt studied geneology and published two books on our family line. I do have French and Irish bloodlines, but going back more than 400 years is a little much.

Mostly German - Alsatian on my mother's side and Prussian on my father's side, plus French, Swiss-Italian, and Austrian. My Prussian ancestors colonized Prussia from Sweden, and I my French ancestors were Norman, and so they were probably Vikings as well. So I'm pretty much Central European and definitely not Anglo.

I'm from Mexico, iIdon't know my bloodlines but the other day we were tracing them and we found French and Spanish long gone relatives
