I recommend buying many pairs, and then rotating them. I do that with everything from shirts to bed sheets, so everything gets used evenly, and they last longer.

Maybe put a stack of folded boxers in your drawers, take from the bottom, and then add to the top when you do laundry.

Penney's (or JCP, for those of you from a certain generation) has always been the US version of Marks and Spencer...the place you go for relaible quality at a fair price on underwear and socks.
