They get on with their lives.

A lot of JUbers are isolated young men who need someone gay to talk to. Then they get older. They make friends. They start a career. They start dating and/or find a partner. They don't need JUB anymore.

Some no doubt just get bored with us, or they have emotional issues that don't mix well with human interaction and they leave in a huff, so they can be unhappy somewhere else.

Some are depressives. They take their meds and don't think about internet chat. They don't and they're back here.

Most of the people who were posting when I first found JUb aren't here anymore.

As Bradlee says, "Ebb and flow."

I believe many are "Lost in (cyber)Space!" Where is Rational Lunacy when I need him and Dr. Smith?

I think many find another forum site that they enjoy more.

Or they wake up & realise that its not healthy to spend too much time in cyberworld. Social forums have their use but theyre no substitute for a real social life.

Oh, for Pete's sake.... #-o

It's a gay message board, nothing more....

Some folks like JUB at first then they get bored with it. Others hang around just to see what happens.

nice ... good observation ..

They delete their accounts and come back w/ new usernames.

They come to my house for sex and cookies.

Well...they would if they found me interesting enough to have sex.

And if I actually had cookies...

Umm...

They cease to exist.

...but you wouldn't answer the door!

I'm young! But my social life is anything but, uh, "lacking".

I'm sure people just find better things to do with their time. Like what I'm doing now! This is better than writing my term paper due at 9am. Yay! :)

They get distracted when they discover the porn galleries.
