  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Where do you buy your clothes?

Ahh! :D My favorite topic: Shopping!

It's actually really hard, though, because I'm so scared I'm gunna leave out a place and hurt its feelings! :P

It all really depends on what I'm shopping for! Like, I have specific things I get exclusively in certain places. For example, I only wear three brands of underwear. Diesel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Fruit of the Loom! :P For outter-wear, I prefer a really wonderful designer out of LA called Skin Graft. G-Star Raw is an all time favorite store, along with Metro Park (the BEST accessories, plus they sell the coolest t-shirts and wonderful True Religion and Manchester jeans), The Buckle, and Urban Outfitters.

If I want to splurge, which is like one item a year, I hit up Gucci - the actual store once a year, and the Gucci outlet once a year! :D ($600 for a small cuff bracelet is a tad steep).

If I need something casual and quick, PacSun! :) I work there, so I get it all really cheap!

Department store wise? Macy's is a good one. Saks is a delight. And Nordstrom is TO DIE for! Throw in Bloomingdales, too, why not.

. . . and to accessorize in a hurry, Wet Seal and Charlotte Russe! They're girls' stores, yes. But their accessories department is unlike any other!

I'm a little confused - how many accessories (bags and bracelets, yes?) can any man possibly need?

I don't think I've ever shopped for an accessory. What exactly are you buying from these places?

I'm assuming he's talking about gun belts.

If you are into fashion , and want to look presentable and stylish mix and match expensive clothes with bargains. And expensive (meaning good quality) don't have to come from high end department stores. Shop around for bargains, outlet stores, thrift stores, and sales on websites ect. Mixing and matching w/ vintage items is creative. Being a label whore doesn't always make for good taste . I have worn a $10 vintage coat and/ or top with $100 jeans and shoes which received several compliments. Go fish. By the way often times if you wear head to toe desinger labels it looks like you are trying to hard .

Diesel, Club Monaco, Zara, Banana Republic, The Gap to name a few.
I tend to shop more at department stores though.
Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Men's Macy's, sometimes Barneys.

Macy's or Target. I always hit up the sale racks, I can't stand paying more then 10-15 dollars for a shirt and the same can be said for pants.

Though most of my closet is made up of cloths from Marshal Fields before it was taken over by Macy's. I miss the sales that where at Marshal Fields!

In the cheapest shops that I can find that don't sell clown clothes.
Cloth are not that important for me, I only wear it because I'm to shy to walk naked in public, and because winters in Spain are cold.
My mother uses to buy me new clothes when she gets embarased for my old ones

Typically Kohl's or JC Penneys, and only when there's a good sale going on. I'm not paying full price for clothes. Very rarely have I ever done so, and it had to be a special shirt or sweater for me to do so.

Macys-$$$$$
Eddie Bauer-$$$$$
JCPenneys-$$$$
Target-$$$
Gabrial Brothers-$$

Funny, I buy some at Nordstroms but most J C Penney, or I shop the outlets also.

Topman, for everything.

Actually spent £100 in there today £80 on a coat though... Eek!

I love Tommy Hillfiger So I shop at a Tommy Hillfiger outlet here in Montreal.

I need some help actually...

I've been looking for a turtle neck jumper and found one on Topman but when I actually have the money to buy one it's out of stock. Any help locating one would be appreciated...

I don't want you to go out of your way but if you see something like this:

In small, or even (maybe) Extra small could you let me know? I have no idea if Topman'll stock up on this, you see, and there were none in the actual store. Thanks

^I looked for one on the topman website and then I realised that is where you took the picture from... maybe if you bookmark the link and then check it every week or so they might get some in. That is if you want to buy it online though.

Or just go buy some cheeseburgers.

I do usually buy online, so yeah, that's what I'll probably do. Thanks for checking!

They had better get some more in - if it's out of stock this quickly I see no reason why they shouldn't although they are constantly out of stock in my 28R black trousers I want!

Trust me. Cheeseburgers don't help as good as they taste.

Ask Steve Jobs. I'm sure he's willing to give you one from his collection for lots of money.

I love taking a drive from phoenix to Cabazon, California to hit up the Desert Hills Premium Outlets and the Cabazon Outlets. On the way back from seeing Kylie Minogue in concert earlier this month, I hit these places up big time. Anybody who is a designer label whore like me would be in heaven there. Every designer you can think of has a store there. Just avoid black friday there it is chaotic...|

If you go into the store they might reserve one for you? I don't see why they don't do that online to be honest. It makes sense.

I love watching skinny boys stuff their faces. They look so cute.
