The shoes I usually wear are completely worn out (blown out with soles worn smooth with holes etc). Wal Mart is the best value right? Or do you get the more expensive brands (Nike for example)...

For me 40 bucks is enough to pay...but I know some shoes run over 200 bucks...crazy!

Do gays care about footwear so much compared to other apparel like undies?

Note we are limiting this to shoes you would wear most not dress shoes or specialised ones...

I usually go to Kohl's to buy everyday or running shoes. The brands I buy are usually Nike and Sketchers which probably cost around $60-90.

I don't really care about underwear. The most I spend on underwear is around $15 and that's because it's Calvin Klein. Just simple briefs/boxer briefs. And, one can simply wear none. ; )

I get every day casual slip ons at Clarks. So comfy. Any gentlemen over thirty should wear running shoes only for running.

I usually get my work dress shoes at Comfort One; they have a nice selection at the store in Union Station which is next to our office building. My running and gym shoes are Asics and I got the last pair at the Marine Marathon showplace. I've also bought shoes from Zappos occasionally. I buy a good pair of shoes and they last for a long time and give my feet support. Because I walk about 2 to 3 miles per day and try to run about 5 at the gym; a good pair of shoes is critical. My biking shoes are always last season's because they don't change that much and there is no reason to have the very latest (heck on a long ride they get filthy)

shoes. i don't even remember the last time i brought shoes so to tell you about where i get everyday shoes from would be difficult. think it was from macys. my mom actually brought me work shoes like 3 or 4 years ago because i didn't care enough to buy myself shoes that i needed for work. she got tired of seeing me with some shoes that were falling apart on my feet. *shrugs* i hate footwear anyway. my feet aren't built for it. don't care too much about buying clothes so.

Earlier this year I was at a local Thrift store where I discovered a load of designer shoes recently donated from a major upscale dept. store here that were only worn once for one fashion show. It was my wet dream. I picked up Cole Haans, Prada, Browns, Clarks, about 20 pair for $50 total. It was like I won the lottery. I should be set for life (but I'm not) !oops!. I know, I need help.

My current ones are from walmart, and the ones before were from Hot Topic... and I suspect when these ones are so worn that water seeps, i'll grab another pair from the closest place in the vicinity.

And I care about shoes so long as they sorta match my attire, UNLESS they're everyday shoes. So in that sense, I care about underwear a LOT more, but I have a fetish, you see... or maybe you don't considering I haven't taken new pics in my undies in quite some time - except for the ones in my profile, I *think*.

I get my shoes from The Shoe Dept. I can always find my Nike Air Monarch's there for $49.95. I've been wearing that style for the past ten years. I get one white pair and one black pair every 6 months. At the end of the 6 months and as they get dirty they get used as work shoes for the until the next 6 months.

Mail order from www.samuel-windsor.co.uk If you wear a collar and tie every day then these are everyday shoes. Some of their casual styles though look like something a Norwegian gym mistress would wear.

Yes - the idiots at Norstrom Rack should take note...those fools think that by buying at the "reduced" price Nordstrom's they are saving heaps...LOL...300 at Nordstrom's ONLY 199 at the Rack...ROFL.

I really have to try them on first before buying. So any store which allows this. Clarks, Deichmann, Brantano, Windsors, and sport goods shops etc.

How much would I spend, around £40 to £50 max, but to be honest, I go if there's a sale to get them cheaper, maybe £20 to £30.

I try to shop locally from independent merchants. I like Timberlands... on sale if possible.

If not, I use L.L. Bean. I would pick a style(s) I like and submit an outline of my foot. They are really good with exchanges/returns. Bean has a terrific website!
