Try the internet! Buy from reputable websites with easy return policies (in case you find it doesn't fit, or just don't like it) and you're set. You can even try stuff on in stores and get better deals for em online.
I've saved hundreds, if not thousands of dollars shopping this way.

I knew a (straight) guy in Canada that ONLY ordered these expensive-ass jeans online, and refused to wear anything else. He showed me one pair on a website, and they were TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS A PAIR.

I'm not much of a jeans man, I prefer to wear khakis or dress pants, as I find them infinitely more comfortable.
But, the few jeans I have, I picked up from a place called Bluenotes. Not sure if there's one near you or not, but they're comfortable enough.
