Where do you guys buy your swimwear?

I live in London so it's almost always too freaking cold to go swimming.

I went to the beach last August and wore jeans, a long sleeve shirt and a sweater and was still cold. Needless to say, there was no swimming involved.


I do have high hopes for summer this year though, so might need swimwear after all.

I haven't owned swimwear since I was a kid. The closest thing I have now is a pair of Columbia "water shorts" which I can use when hiking or sailing, and can double as swimwear, if needed.

I don't have any swimwear... and no, I don't skinnydip; there'd be calls to the Vancouver Aquarium to come rescue the poor beached Beluga.

And the Speedo factory store for my gym swimming kit.

Awesome stuff but their definition of small is my definition of large (ok, kind of exaggerated, more like my medium). It's going to take me years before I can fit perfectly in those clothes. Thanks for the help tho, Josh.

That reminds me of a time when a buddy and I were looking at pantyhose in the supermarket. I needed to buy some for my dog's e-collar but it had to be the right kind without a seamed crotch so I spent a lot of time looking at the various packages. Did the ladies ever give us some looks.
