I hate the term "Straight Acting".

I act like me.

But it's not an "act". And since I'm gay, I guess that makes me "gay acting", although I've been told I don't come across as "gay".

but since I don't pretend to be straight, I'd never refer to myself as "Straight acting".
 
Nobody ever guessed I am Gay or at least not that they have told me. Only one person has asked and those have told have been surprised. I don't act anything I am just me so I guess a 5 is the best I can offer.
 
I'm with Soilwork on this one, I have always hated that expression "Straight acting". It implies we are ashamed of who we are and want to "appear" heterosexual. But, just to play along with the thread, I wonder if those who know us would agree with our own rating of ourselves?

Well, I look gay, that is people can tell right away, so I guess I'm a 10? I don't deliberately act straight because I would look ridiculous but on the other hand I don't deliberately act like a flamer. WTF am I, LOL?
 
Where I think I lie--- and where other people would put me on the 1-10 scale might not be the same!!
 
1 - 3 i guess. i dont really know. im not flamboyant at all. but when im with my boy we have fun and i think im my true self which is like a 4.
 
acting? no I don't act a certain way. I'm not macho and I doubt I am flamboyant so maybe a 6 but others might give me a different rating :)
 
This is like reading the profiles on gay.com, where you can put whether you're average, a flamer, or butch. I've met some guys who claimed they were butch.
