Where does everyone live?

Crestone, Colorado. Southeastern corner near New Mexico. "Spiritual" capital of the West. Home to many religions, many temples here also. Surrounded by National Forests, with lots of wildlife on my property! 14,000 foot snow covered mountains outside my winds! San Luis Valley to the west, the continemtal divide, and the Rocky Mountains. (Have an empty bedroom and full bath available!)

Right on the edge of the West Midlands conurbation (England)- nothing special but it's 5 mins in the car to get to Staffordshire and another 5 or so to get into Shropshire- fantastic countryside quite close by, and there's a lovely little canal just down the road too. Very busy main road but my road which is just off it is very quiet. I like living here!

i am from Montreal , Canada. it is cold but fortuntely i can get away from it once in a while

I live in Florida, 10 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center, 15 Minutes from Cocoa Beach and 45 minutes from the number one vacation spot in America, Orlando. The city I live in is really an Island, it's Merritt Island Florida. I great place to live.

Right down the bottom of Oz on the left hand side, in the most gorgeous spot on earth! You can see why in these pics and in my siggy pic .....

Very interesting thread. Keep posting guys. I might find a place to move to in the spring.

High in the rolling hills of scenic Oakland, with a view of San Francisco Bay (if I lean precariously out the guest bedroom window), in the temperate climes of Northern California (Heaven on Earth...even our slums are picturesquely surreal).

Here's a little picture of our own body of water, Lake Merritt, the only salt-water lake contained within a city anywhere in the world. It smells horrible on hot days, but fortunately we don't have very many of those, and it attracts a lot of cute joggers.

I'm curious... why do people live in places they don't like? Instead of (or after) pounding yer pud here, go hunt up a job and an apartment somewhere else. Easier said than done of course, and I know how lucky I am that I grew up in a place I love... but if you don't like the place, why not just get up and go?

Francestown New Hampshire about a mile from Crotchet Mountain. With a whopping population of 1600

I live in Dayton, Ohio, which seems like the home sheriff's auctions for foreclosed properties. Want a property priced for 2/3 the value? Come on over.

A picture of a portion of the cityscape is below...
