Are you referring to Condoleezza Rice? She’s back at Stanford University working as a political science professor while also making the rounds as a guest speaker at various political events.
Ssssh! Don't ruin our fantasy where political incompetence actually gets punished.
Nice movie poster Jayden! Love it! Condi was shopping for shoes when in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina--that's her legacy--Spike Lee documented her indifference in his truly amazing documentary When the Levees Broke. See this DVD. The survivors of Katrina tell their amazing stories, it's 4+ hours long, but watch it in two parts.
she has a pretty amazing CV. plus isn't she the provost of stanford? plus she sits on the board of 5 or so major corporations. she was probably the most competent and capable member of the bush administration. (in my opinion of course... i'm not american)
What did she ever do that was so great? I keep hearing that "dr. Rice" was so damn "intelligent", but never what it was she did during the Bush administration that was so smart.
I'm sure she's clever, but what did she ever achieve for the nation?
like i said, i'm not american, so i wouldn't be as exposed to the nuances of her achievements when she was in public service. all i know is she's a supremely capable and intelligent woman. this is her quickie bio from wiki.
Condoleezza Rice (born November 14, 1954) is a professor, diplomat, author, and national security expert. She served as the 66th United States Secretary of State, and the second in the administration of President George W. Bush to hold the office. Rice was the first black woman, second African American (after her predecessor Colin Powell, who served from 2001 to 2005), and the second woman (after Madeleine Albright, who served from 1997 to 2001 in the Clinton Administration) to serve as Secretary of State. Rice was President Bush's National Security Advisor during his first term. Before joining the Bush administration, she was a professor of political science at Stanford University where she served as Provost from 1993 to 1999. During the administration of George H.W. Bush, Rice served as the Soviet and East European Affairs Advisor during the dissolution of the Soviet Union and German reunification.
When beginning as Secretary of State, Rice pioneered a policy of Transformational Diplomacy, with a focus on democracy in the greater Middle East. Her emphasis on supporting democratically elected governments faced challenges as Hamas captured a popular majority in Palestinian elections yet supported Islamist militants, and influential countries including Saudi Arabia and Egypt maintained authoritarian systems with U.S. support. While Secretary of State, she chaired the Millennium Challenge Corporation's board of directors.[1]
In March 2009, Rice returned to Stanford University as a political science professor and the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution
Shouldn't you wait at least three years and several months to say that? Then there's hope for us with the current president.![]()

Condi and W formed an unholy alliance. She was national security advisor on 9/11. Her claim to fame was that she was fluent in Russian. HELLOO! The Cold War was over.
