where is the best place to get rest

I would like to know where the best place to get rest . I'm a workaholic I never take time out for myself. I work 3 job at the same place ,I do CNA ,Dietary Aid and Front desk . I found a hotel that coast $338 a night is that too much to spend on a hotel. I just need to get rest .
 
My great aunt use to drive up from LA and stay in a hotel on I-5 in Oregon at about exit 148 or so (Rice Hill). It is the middle of nowhere and she was a regular there for decades for getaway rests.


Just pick a random hotel or motel and go. Tell one person where you will be and keep your cell off. My aunt swore by it.

Why do three jobs, instead of one with as many hours? Are Americans idiots? What´s going on there?

The best way to get some rest is to turn your phone & computer off!
 
God bless you I know a guy at my job he transport patients for 8 hours for the hospital and then 8 hours for ct scan he does doubles everyday works over 16 hours 5 days a week.


I don't know if you have any casinos where you live. I would just get a room at a casino and relax and get food from the restaurants. You don't have to worry about driving or traveling anywhere. The beds are so comfortable.

No one really gives a shit if you are working 3 jobs...or are a workaholic. Your boss doesn't care, your co-workers probably don't and at the end of the day, it is a pretty short epitaph "Worked himself to death, never enjoyed life"

If you are so addicted to work that you are running away from having a life outside of work, I would recommend some counselling.

And if you need something to do to challenge you while you contribute to others, find some volunteer work where you 'do' something, like a soup kitchen or similar.

And then as other have said....get your rest in your own bed with the phone and computer and TV and every other device turned off.

Well most American's are idiots, however working 3 jobs is sometimes THE ONLY WAY to make ends meet. Your government takes care of you we get jack shit from ours. You have health care...we don't, And that is a COLOSSAL COST! Property tax will kill you, food is going up, clothes are going up, cars are going up, gasoline (petrol) up, gas water electric all up up up, If you have kids forget it more money if you have health problems and if they have problems FORGET IT you're better off dead! But there are people living in their means or like myself trying to live below my means to have something a little extra and are still strapped! Maybe if these asshole ceos and big wigs would take a pay cut and not get 6 and 7 figure bonuses then shit would equal out and they could pay people (grown ass adults) what they are worth!
 
To the OP: I like you! You're driven and determined and definitely not lazy.

Plan a vacation. Now. Then actually take it, for at least a week. None of these crazy go-go tours, either. I wouldn't recommend New York or Las Vegas; somewhere like San Diego or Virginia Beach will do, especially off-season.

Hey...wanna go with me? I'm a great traveler and really thrifty. Probably Mr. Wrong when it comes to a relationship or even hookup, though.

Why can't you just work the same long hours for one employer?

The only people with two jobs in The Netherlands I know about are gambling addicts and such, or the total amount of hours worked doesn't usually exceed 40, rarely 50.

How is the US different? I would think that employers would prefer it if employees would spend all their working attention on one firm; theirs. How are they going to work over time?
 
Although $338 sounds like a lot of money to me, it depends on where it is. A $338 room would probably have more amenities as well. For some people an out of the way and cheaper room would be enough, but whatever you want is best.
 
^ If are spending $338 per night on a hotel room because of work....you'd better be making about $1200 per day. Given that a committed 'workaholic' would still only be working 18 hours a day at most, you should be making about $66 per hour. Not impossible but not likely with the jobs described. If someone is working three different jobs at the same place, surely there's a broom closet or mechanical room where you can keep a fold-out cot and just live 'under the stairs'.
