They're desperate. They don't want her TOO exposed because she can't take media scrutiny without being scripted, like she was in the debate. She's still whining about the Katie Couric interview, where she "bombed". The media will ask probing questions. That's the way it is. She expects them to handle her with kid gloves because she can't think on her feet. If that's how she feels, she's "not ready for prime time" and should get out of the national political arena. All I hear with her is spewing her same little sound bites over and over again. When she can't, or is asked something outside the scope of her sound bites, she comes off as an unpolished embarrassment. I don't blame Palin. She is what she is. The "soccer mom" baloney only goes so far.

This morning several reporters said McCain has decided to keep Palin away from MSM (that means she can go on Fox and Limbaugh) and use her only to bring out the base. She will be campaigning in Nebraska today - yes, red state Nebraska. It is outrageous that she has not done a single Sunday talkshow.

I agree with Orlandude - you can't fault Palin (except perhaps to say she should object to be used this way). The fault is McCain's lack of judgment and failure to put the country first.
 
I think they should throw it back in her face and invite Tina Fey to appear in her place.

Biden is accessible to the media and has given plenty of interviews where he doesn't come off as a total klutz. Palin fucked up the few she did and she's no where to be seen after that.

Next time you think about posting something this foolish, it might be a good idea to check the latest news first. The time of your post was much later in the day then when it was first reported that Biden's mother in-law died.

Looking past the insensitivity of your post under the circumstances, what is your point? Between the Republican Convention and Sept 30, Sarah Palin has given three strictly controlled interviews. She hasn't participated in even one open press conference, and has not given one minute of Q&A time to the press.

Joe Biden has given more than 89 national and local interviews over roughly the same period of time.

Obama and Palin would make great candidates in 8-12 years after they have paid their dues. Now the only two qualified candidates are McCain and Biden. Since McCain is the principle and Biden a only a VP choice, the logical vote is clear, McCain/Palin and hope that McCain lives into his 80s+

If McCain and Palin are elected, the best thing for America would be to hope that they and the next couples of successors to the presidency die in a plane crash the week after the inauguration.
