Where to post personal ads now that no CL?

Sorry if this has been asked in the past. I couldn't find it. I mostly lurk on here but wondered. Now that CL doesn't have personals is there anywhere you can post them for your local areas? I'm in Indiana if anyone is around and wants to start out chatting. Thanks guys!
 
Doublelist has started required signing up (free) to even view ads so that keeps a lot of people from even trying it. Has Grindr become less user frindly? Haven't tried it but it seems like it might be the only widespread
anonymous user friendly site.
 
I totally miss the yahoo chatrooms in the now closed yahoo messenger. It was so easy to hook up woth other bi guys in my area. Those were the days. 😥
 
When I was in college, 1997-1998 there was a guy on our floor who would always come by to "borrow our AOL and computers" so he could arrange a hookup. It never took him long either...and he did this damn near everyday. I don't know the chatroom he was using.

Craigslist was much better than Grindr because it allowed for a much bigger scope of hot guys. If you're into curious or straight guys, you won't really find them on Grindr unless they're looking for trans. On Craigslist, it was possible to meet straight guys and curious guys. Tinder is another way I've had success but only if you break their rules and you'll eventually get banned from straight guys reporting your profile.
 
Yeah, a couple of weeks ago, I posted an ad to sell my mini-fridge. While there, I perused other items for sale, and I even checked out "Missed Connections." Lol ... some guy posted a "Hey Baby" tribute to me from the week prior, describing the date, time, what clothes I was wearing, and even the car I drove to a semi-nearby Kwik Trip (gas station, convenience store to those not in the know). I did message him on Twitter, but sadly, nothing is going to come of it. He is 66 years old, lol, I playfully joked that maybe he should try again next year when his social security kicks in!

Any who, it seems like "Missed Connections" has become the new personal ads on Craigslist. I do miss accessing that site and seeing what local available meat was available ... never acted upon or initiated contact with anyone, but it was GREAT seeing local meat for those brave enough to post pix of his naughty bits. Lol ... I recognized one beautiful cock that I stared at for hundreds of hours in the high school showers after gym class and sports (that I took just to see more of his awesomeness). I saw him in the bar one night, secreted that I saw his ad, which he totally denied, and surprise, surprise, when I got home that night, said ad was deleted from CL. I suppose being married with children, he was more hopeful for anonymous sex.

Craigslist was the best in NYC before it became well known. The casual encounters section was the best to find the straight or curious guys! Later on there was so many straight guys looking for "generous", but in earlier years I did meet quite a few straight younger guys who were curious.
 
The personal ads on Craigslist are now on the Activities boards. When making an ad it even says no personals but there are plenty there. Just be a little more discreet about what you say and you'll be fine. I post oral 4 str8 and get plenty of responses.
 
thanks for the ideas, I've had some fun on Sniffies, Doublelist not so much, any other good ones? Grindr and Squirt are staples on my phone too :)
