8 Premiership matches today. The 2 most interesting games - Spurs at Anfield and Chelski at Bolton - are not being broadcast live. :(

Arsenal should beat Sunderland to go top. And ManCity could consolidate their good start to the season if they beat injury-hit 'Boro.

Spurs are unbeaten for five games. If they win at Anfield Martin Jol's job will be safe for another few weeks. If they lose...:eek:

I knew we were gonna lose, though. Man City have been awesome this season, players like Elano and Petrov are really making a difference.

i would agree with that, Man City have been the surprise package.... what has happened to Sven and his style of football, if he had england playing thta style of football, he may have actually been a success as England manager.

Bolton look doomed along Derby.

Liverpool started the season strongly an dnow are reverting to their old habits. Good to see Arsenal getting stronger and look serious title contenders.

A couple of teams have surprised me. Arsenal didn't really spend, lost Thierry too, and yet Arsene might just've done it again. Man City, definitely. I was thinking... dull dull Sven, chairman under investigation by his country for corruption, a load of players I've never heard of... gonna suck. But no, somehow it all came together.

And Everton take on the might ;) of Liverpool in a couple of hours...A game that will be broadcast to millions around the world.

Sad for all those USA sports-loving JUBbers to realise few in the rest of the world are the slightest bit interested in American football/baseball/basketball...

well all is still the same with the top four, thats Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City not Chelsea hehe

all winning, including Chelsea, as did portsmouth and blackburn, so the top 7 all stay the same.

cnt believe whats happening with bolton, tis a real shame, i used to like watching them play and now they're just not the same without Big Sam. i do really hope they come good and can get out the bottom 3.

speaking of Big Sam, newcastle playin spurs on monday, come on spurs!!!

^ Indeed Spurs in mid-field and particularly in defence were woeful. Doubt whether Dawson - one of Spurs best players last year - has had a poorer game.

Spurs now have 3 home games - in 3 differant competitions - in just eight days. The results in these three games will almost certainly determine the fate of Martin Jol.

And you do have to question Jol's decision to leave Berbatov out of the starting lline-up in such an important game as last night.

^Tough times ahead. I was also puzzled with the decision to bench Berbatov.

Depending on form, Arsenal's position on the log could either be well-cemented or blown to bits after the next two games at Anfield and hosting Man U on the 3rd of November.
