Which could you deal with as a mate, someone unattractive and smart or someone dumb as hell and sexy beyond belief?

As a mate? You mean as a friend, or as a boyfriend? As a friend, unattractive doesn't matter, and I'd rather have someone I can actually deal with in conversation.

As for a partner... that's a little harder. It depends HOW unattractive/dumb. I feel like it's much easier to deal with someone who's "dumb" because intelligence isn't super black-and-white; someone who's not math-smart may be really good at literature, or someone who doesn't know a lot of trivia might just be really good at logic. Whereas someone who's really ugly is just... really ugly.

I dunno. I guess there's a fewer percentage of people that I find unbearably dumb than those I find unbearably unattractive.

I don't really care what you look like; I just have to enjoy being around you. If a guy has a really good personality, we get along and he's someone i'd enjoy hanging out with, i'd probably consider fucking and/or dating the dude.

You can be the most handsome guy in the world, but if your personality and conversation skills suck, then the hell with you.

My first instinct is to say unattractive and smart (since people whom I'm don't find conventionally good-looking can prove themselves to be charming in other ways), but just because somebody is smart doesn't necessarily mean that he's kind, or compassionate, or that I'd have anything in common with him. Tough call. Maybe I'll have to go with dumb and sexy.

I'd choose the dumb guy. As long as dumb didn't equal misogynist, racist, pathless, boring, or unable to care for himself, I can deal with a guy that doesn't exactly have all the book smarts in the world, but tries.

So many smart guys are also arrogant these days; that would make them unattractive by default. Besides, what's attractive to me might not be to you - in my head, the unattractive guy is unattractive because of his mental qualities, not his psychical offerings.

What is in the heart and there personality is what i would choose,

by meeting them you are already given a insight to the above mention limited choices. One can pick those points out right away.

Give me dumb and sexy any day. As long as he isn't the stereotypical joke and isn't a complete moron, it can work.
