Which countries government does she work for?????

Not a surprising article from the increasingly shrill right wing agit prop Murdoch rag.

Let's do nothing and continue to have the highest costs with the worst results.

Tsaritsa, just for clarification's sake ;)

And "which country's government."

I say boo-hoo for the miserable, blood sucking insurance companies. It's about time someone in the government gave some corporations a kick in the ass. Kudos to Kathleen Sibelius.

The corporations in general, health insurance, Wall Street firms, oil companies, etc, are upset that they are finding it harder and harder to rip off the consumer and extract extortionate profits at the expense of the well being of the consumer and the economy. Fuck them.

And fuck Rupert Murdoch and his $1 million donation to the Republican Governors' association. The Republican Party is bought and paid for by the corporations, and they no longer even pretend otherwise.

hack hack hack the truth.

This is getting boring. I realised a few says ago that you guys are not interested in the truth. You just want to argue and insist on being right.

BORING

OOOOOOH I know what country she works for!!!!

Kenya????

oh how about CANADA?!!

what about the old SOVIET UNION? I hear they are back. MAybe its the conspirators who blew up the twin towers that she works for.

PERHAPS its romper room.... cause thats where this nonsense belongs

"There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases."

Sounds good to me!

Ahem, the question was rhetorical.;)

Fuck, I didn't even get through the second paragraph when the e-rag started screaming between the lines that: Healthcare=Communism and Obama is a liar because he said insuring more people = more costs. (Really? You mean if you want more of something it will cost more???) Don't get me wrong, I'm not an Obama fan, but I really don't like the smell of bullshit either, and FAUX and the WSJ both wreak of it.

why are so many gay people anti republican?

The Republican party, for the most part has tried to undermine our efforts to make progress towards equality. As well, a lot of us also care about the non "gay issues" such as questionable wars and enactments that affect freedoms to out of control spending fits that has not made our nation better. What did the $13,000,000,000,000 give us?

why are so many gay people anti republican?

For many gays, what they refer to as their "lifestyle "dominates their persona instead of just being a sexual identity. When someone disapproves of any of their actions or behaviors, they feel their entire existence threatened. In many Islamic countries this fear is rational, don't give your bf a big wet one in downtown Teheran. As seeking approval is natural for most folks, we like to think we what we are doing is OK, disapproval makes many question themselves. Those with poor self images(describes a lot of gays due to negative environment while growing up) react with hostility to anyone who doesn't want to embrace them.

There are a number of factions with the Republican Party as with any political party. The religious faction uses a traditional interpretation of the Bible to cast aspersions on gays very existence and their certain damnation considers them anathema. Another faction of the party doesn't see government as an end all and a be all for all forms of human interaction and sees a government that can bestow being used as a government that can take away. Then there is also the libertarian wing of the party(which is growing) that sees sexuality as irrelevent and embraces civil protections to ensure equal rights. Many in the party just don't see public expression of sexuality, gay or straight, to be in good taste, a reflection of societal norms on sexuality in general.

Then there is the republican group called the Log Cabin Republicans, they are the ones who challenged DADT in federal court and won the first round. I think their membership stands at several hundred thousand.

The Republican Party as a whole can be fairly faulted for having an anti-gay image but it is changing. What gets lost is their message of being pro-individual rights, and pro-freedom of economic destiny vs. the nanny state the left wants to impose with its one size fits all programs.

Pro-freedom of economic destiny?!?! Really?!?! The Republican Party is the party of crony capitalism and corporate welfare. You've heard of no bid contracts for such companies as Haliburton, that major, war profiteering outfit Dick Cheney used to run, for example?

When someone disapproves of any of their actions or behaviors, they feel their entire existence threatened.

When someone seeks to legislate against your civil rights, it is more substantive than simple "disapproval".

It is quite disingenuous to suggest that the problem most gays have with the Republican party is the result of our self-image, rather than the hostility to our rights practiced by the party.

Bush increased the debt by 71 percent... that is the highest amount in the history of the nation.

what did we get?

we got two wars, a decaying infrastructure, and a fuck all recession. The republicans in congress still want things to happen that way.

What most of the battle is about is marriage, and DADT. While it was not the party position, the suit against DADT was brought by a Gay Republican group. One of the Clintons supported, among other democrats, the Defense of Marriage Act. DADT I see as far more damaging as it impacts on our national security. I am currently working on 3 different campaigns for libertarian republicans. They all know I'm gay, and they could all give a fuck less. They are not hostile, nor are they gushingly patronizing like some libs I know. Every time I hear a liberal tell me how they respect me for being out I want to puke.

I just don't see the threat there from the party that you guys do. Then again, I think marriage is just a waste of time. Why bother emulating a heterosexual institution based on ownership and subjugation.

Eddy this is like the third post I've read of yours tonight apologizing for the fact that you support a political party that has an anti gay agenda.

there is no getting around it.

you work to hurt the gay community

And Republicans as a whole have opposed overturning DOMA and DADT.

Republicans as a whole have opposed ENDA and hate crimes legislation.

Republicans proposed a Constitutional amendment against same sex marriage.

The Republican party has demonized gays and used us as a wedge issue.

To pretend this is simply disapproval, and a sign of weak ago on our part is quite dishonest.

right because supporting candidates who aren't bothered by and don't have a problem with gays or gay marriage is obviously very dangerous to the gay community and clear evidence of Fasteddy's intent to destroy it.

And Republicans as a whole have opposed overturning DOMA and DADT.

both of which were signed into law by a Democratic president

Republicans as a whole have opposed ENDA and hate crimes legislation.

Absolutely us gays are pansies who cannot take care of or protect ourselves and so we need the government to keep us safe. obviously adding a year onto a prison sentence will be enough to scare any gay haters from ever assaulting us again.

Not knowing the democratic support rate, I'll give you ENDA for now.

Republicans proposed a Constitutional amendment against same sex marriage.

The Republican party has demonized gays and used us as a wedge issue.

And in this last presidential election, the Republican nominee believed marriage should only be man and woman while opposing the FMA and the Democratic nomineee thought marriage should only be man and a woman while opposing the FMA. The fact that Obama won California and Florida while both states passed anti-gay marriage amendments in the last election clearly demonstrates that Republicans were the sole reason that those initiatives passed and were in fact forced upon unwilling Democratic voters, who were split from the rest of the electorate by the love for gays and gay rights.
