I was wondering has any Jubber inspired you in a way no one else has? Since I've been here, I've been inspired in ways I never expected from an online forum. I'll name a few:

Lube-- A wonderful friend who has inspired me to become almost totally out! Before Jub, I was so far in the closet, I couldn't find the light switch!

Andreus-- has inspired me to be more compassionate towards my fellow man, no matter what the differences are!

Tonyboy-- has inspired me to have a much more positive view of myself!

Elvin1-- has inspired me to get out more and not be so shy!

Jakebequette-- has inspired me to lighten up, have fun and not take things so seriously all the time!

These are just a few. Let's hear what you guys have to say.

Not choosing any names. But they know who they are that inspired me to do the things I know now.

I would have to say beafous!

He's an absolute great guy and so easy to talk to! Great at giving advice as well :D (he's sexy too)

Love ya B

Ronboy - even people in authority can be kind and sweet

pianist - grace under fire at its finest. he is a rare gem

Ruby - proves that being different doesnt matter. what really matters is a good heart and a great sense of humor

Bradlee - he never quits... one of the greatest qualities a man can ever have, and he was the first person at jub to ever be nice to me.

Elle - dedication baby... pure and simple... passionate ---YUMMMM

SB - People can just be who they are and live with the honesty that such a life creates. well, for all the history I have with him, I still cant resist reading his posts... that intrigues me.

Hoody - ever evolving, complex and sinfully funny

Herry - not everything has to be serious to be enjoyable

Midnightprism - a southern gentleman and a smooth talker

GL - a truly wonderfull and sweet man.. he is the kind of person I wish i could be... sensitive and smart

Stevenavy - an officer and a gentleman... he and i have so many reasons to not get along, but he constantly reminds me of our similarities.. he's a bridge builder, never a dissention spreader

Pegasus - one of the most courageous men i have recently come across

Jwest - his dedication to eric and mitch inspires me... he is a loyal yet gracious man of my faith

JD - a gentleman even under pressure.. god i have always had such a crush on him... there i finally said it outloud

Hard up - a man who isnt afraid to live a life based in personal values and doesn't mind sharing them with people

Epicadam - what an intellect... my god the man is a genius... and he gives me insight on his faith

you know I have like forty people or something on my buddy list and each and every one of them inspires me in some way

thanks for the mention Gmoney - you are a good man.. you try to do the right thing, and that is sometimes the hardest thing to do.

Pegasus69... without a doubt.

Anyone who has followed Steve's battle with cancer on this site realzes that there isn't a more courageous, caring and warm-hearted man out there.

Elwood and I also had the pleasure of meeting him this past summer in Provincetown, Mass. - and let me tell you he is everything I thought he would be and more.
God Bless you, Steve.

I'm just newbie. I like Christopher123 for honest and thoughtful. I'm really appreciated it. :-) and everyone inspired me. (*8*)
Aww, you're so sweet, thank you :)

Like I said, those who have inspired me know who they are. And even those who didn't mean to inspire me have and they probably don't even know it. But... that's my secret.

To all the people who posted in the comming out forums when i first got on here it was a great help to see others going through the same things i was

i havent been chatting on the forums that long but i love ya's all  (*8*)

Andreus, Drops of Jupiter.....

Thank you so much for the kind words. To be honest I do not know if I am deserving or not. Right now I do not feel so courageous. I know that I have not been online much recently, but I promise to update the blog here this weekend. So much to think about, so much to try and express, so much fear these days.....

courage is not facing ordinary things with no fear, my friend

it is facing scary things, and even though you have fear, continuing on your path anyway

you are very courageous

hugs

This an interesing post gmoney. Inspiriation is a subjective word but here are my choices.

Fastdavy - doesn't post much but he has become a true friend. The first jubber I met that I still talk with. Very wise man, and one of the best friends anyone could ever have.

Jwest - he inspires hope in any gay guy that is searching for the love of their life. He happened to find it early in his life. An educated, well spoken, loving man. A man of few words as far as jub goes, but his life is an inspiration. Tolerant, loves the arts, is a fine man in every respect.

Gmoney - has helped me to understand that I cannot just wish everyone to be happy and make it happen. I respect his journey to find himself. That journey has been conducted with great honesty and much hard work. What he is trying to do is not easy and I respect very much the way he is working it all out.

Duroc5088 - if there were ever an inspiration for a man trying to find love Dirk is it. Such a fine man, and he never gave up. An articulate cowboy, works hard, and is a true friend to any person that treats him honestly.

hotcbr - any man that serves in the USA Military, and can keep a long term relationship deserves respect. It is tough enough to be a gay man, let alone one in the Armed Forces. He serves our country in many different places around the world, away from his partner for months at a time.

Dbase - another very fine man. He works hard and plays hard. How does that inspire? Well, he is always cheerful, always looks at the bright side of things. Tough to do sometimes when one is working so hard and looking to find a mate to share his life with. Never seen a post from him that indicates he is 'down' in any way.

And a final one. In spite of recent differences, and in honesty to the subject of this tread, I must add:

Elvin1 - he has stopped me from leaving JUB a couple of times over the past months. This place can be tough sometimes, as I'm sure many of you know. I must say that I appreciate his help here in the past.

Many more to add. Just don't want to keep you guys from getting on to the next response.

:D :D :D :D :D

Tonyboy- has taught me that I need to be a little more gentile on my perspective of where my life choices have taken me. he has also shown me that I am deserving of the loving relationship that I now have. thanks Rick, you know how to make things better.

Brian-1- how is it possible for someone with so much class, honesty, dignity, pride, kindness, and love in their heart to really exist? What a guy. Always willing to talk. Even more importantly, always willing to listen.

Dynk- Well what can you say about Pope of JUB? You can't help but love such a sencere person, with the warmest of hearts, and kindest of words. Hey Paul, BOOTS ON...............right? ;)

Robertac- I've followed his story since i started posting in this forum, Now things have settled down for him. I'm happy that he is finally happy. he has taught me to have courage when facing the adversities of coming out. And how to approach it with class and respect for your loved ones. Thanks Rob.

SOILWORK- though we have had our disagreements in the past and sometime we have just down right hated each other for a few weeks. he still somehow proves to be the victor everytime. I hate that about him. he always gets his way.lol;) but on the other hand, he has shown me several times over that sometimes in life certain people aren't going to agree with the life style that I have chosen as a gay man, but to be strong and stand my ground, don't take any guff about what, no scratch that, WHO I am. Be proud of WHO i am, and don't back down.

there are several others that have touched me and taught me many different life lessons, without even know that they have done so. Thanks to all of you JUBBERS for posting.

What about Jockboy01....He has very insightful comments and I think he has very many situations well thought out on advice!

I would agree - Pegasus69/Steve is really a wonder. Although I haven't met him, he is one of the most inspiring people I've (n)ever seen!

And RationalLunacy has the demented mind that I seem to just click with. It's nice to know that there are others like me in the world.

But there are many others who have made me smile, made me sad, made me think about things a little differently that I did before...

and many who touched my heart.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with tommyj. jockboy01 has been an inspiration to me over the past year, and his friendship has carried me through some particularly difficult times. averageguy has also been amazing with his advice, and this is one guy who doesn't get enough credit. Irishvaron, when he used to post, was also a great help to me. It's a shame that he no longer posts. And the NowVoyager saga was also inspirational to me and it definitely played a role in my coming out...so thanks Soilwork.

I know I've missed so many, but basically if I've PM'd you, or left a comment on your post, you're words had an impact on me.

aww, thanks Tommyj!! Most here don't know me that much as I tend to hang out in the coming out forum almost exclusively... and I've been busy as of late haha.

For me, most of them have been in that forum and there are a lot to list for a lot of reasons.... riverrick, averageguy, soilwork, halubtsi, chance1, kevin007, epicadam, neartheshow1, tonyboy, confusedboy23, and on and on.

I inspire myself........ *coughs*
My kleenex-packs inspire me..
And ofcourse, everyone on JUB!
*Hugs to all*

I remember you (*8*)

At the moment no one really inspires me, although sissyboy does a good job at influencing me to do things that usually benefit me :D

Well, everyone beat me to Jockboy. He is special! I try hard to keep up with the example he sets.

A lot of the younger guys amaze me with their insight and maturity, especailly those going through troubled times themselves. Like Confusedboy23, Roland00, douseiai, and Christopher123.

Lube teaches me how to make a decision about your life and then move boldly ahead with courage.

Soilwork for being an example of how to be honest and say things plainly and clearly and care.

But my BIG inspiration right now is Spikethecat who survives despite unimaginable adversity.
