Winter, always have been a winter at the beach guy with the ruff shore and waves and sounds, I adore it. We vacation on the Oregon Coast in early spring [when we are able to go and afford it] and it's just amazing, and usually not many people around, can go get in the hot tub at 2pm and it's chilly and overcast and you can watch the ocean and be so warm, I just love it! Where are you guys at?

Its like the shower room at the gym........

when you got it you don't gotta brag

Its there, people see, its there, people see.

And there are negatives.....like,

there are foggy days and nights, the ocean roaring i

n your windows and worst of all...you have to

live in California. like big dick in the shower has to shop

for oversize rubbers, pants dont 'hang' correctly and

god forbid a public erection...things can be tough for

everybody you see.

Cant help if you see it that way, I was not trying to brag, but since you posted it that way I will for you... We cant help it if we work very hard for our money, mainly my honey. 80K does not even cover the back yard, cant help it that we are retired now--honey at 45 yrs old now he is 51 and me at 44 this yr no more work. 15 yrs ago we were dead ass broke, so dont think we had money. I was all hard work and right decisions, and some good luck..

It would be bragging if I had made my post this way-- Which do you like better-- our beach house- or our 6 rental income properties 4 paid and clear--our 2 ranches 1-500acre and 1-750arce, our 65ft cabin cruiser boat, our 4 cars, our vaction homes in Cabo San Lucas and Acapulco Mexico paid in full, the 400 head of cattle- the 4000 avocado trees. The 5.8 million net worth and to finish it off the 100k in checking acct and 200k in savings. NOW THAT would be bragging,, although it is true what we have but that is bragging.. I only posted it this way for you since you had the issue..

It was meant to just ask the view point of the dramatic seasonal change and which one people might like better. It was not meant to brag in any way..I was try to point the differance in the beauty of both seasons.

Perhaps I have misjudged you and your intentions in the past. Before you get
any snarkier...read back a few post to 80KGOLD and his post which is what the first 2 lines of my post addressed.

I am no doubt wasting my time but I await your apology. BTW, net worth is
measured in far more than money....and if your properties are from the Monterey
Penninsula to Santa Barbara but probably were are part of my families old land grants....and thats heritage not bragging.

Well if I misunderstood, then I do apologize. But you did not quote him so it looked like you had issue with it and that's why I understood it that way. But I wrote the previous responce to you show the difference if I had been bragging. Which I did not in my 1st post
And btw--> net worth is (Assets minus liabilities) It does not matter who's they were before, the deeds and titles have our names and some banks.

we cant go around and say that land was mine before the americans took it away.. Becus if it is heritage as you say, then were good there also as my honey is hispanic and thats heritage. And we are all in SB county..

But again no disrespected at you, again I was trying to show diff if I had been bragging..

We worked very hard to get were we are, and had a ruff ride w/ups and downs but I am proud of what we did in a short time to get were we are. No free rides here just hard work.. as I said we were dead ass broke 15 yrs ago. I do mean broke as in not even a place to live and no car.

THank you, my point exactly. And yes there is a way down. We all pitched in and had a stair case built for the beach access that everyone including the public can use after they sign a waiver (as per the attornies) and it a great place with tide pools and rock climbing, fishing, swimming.. here are some pics for you..

Well, a feeble apology if sincere is better than an effusive unmeant one.

My family has its share of rogues and scalawags to go with the hoi poloi.
The incident of birth is not a brag point, it is biology.

We have run through and made and spent and lost a lot of money collectively
as well as individually. How can that be brag, it is just fact. When we get
together it is as family and people who like each other not bank accounts or the
social charts.

I would like to walk away from this 'pisstake'with no hard feelings on either side.
It is regretted that my posting wasn't clearer. I apologize for and will admit I am
guilty of expecting people to read the undercurrents.

BTW, I do love where your home is..but I also remember mildew and mold and
slugs and salt rime on windows.....I prefer to visit....a lot. lol

I'm a summer guy myself so I vote for that but your place does not look bad at winter all! I would rather stay there during the winter than most places in the world!
