Which one of these men do you prefer?

I voted. But I just don't get the choice of these four, Vulcano. Odd combination.

Really? I didn't realize that...
Apart from Hopkins (I explained why I included him a few posts above, though), they seemed to me as they belonged in the same category, more or less (older, hairy, nice beard, belly, etc.).
I'd be interesting if you explained your comment further, I like to hear different opinions - guess it also helps me understand myself better

I just had to say Anthony Hopkins is one of my top favorite sex symbols of all time. And I don't find the others attractive at all. But variety is the spice of life, and different tastes means we all get laid.

Yep, I mentioned it a few posts earlier - very good film, one of the best soundtracks ever, Brian acts magnificently, and he looks awesome! You like it too, I assume?
There's also one in which he stars with Gene Hackman - Twice in a Lifetime - that I like. Not the same artistic level, obviously (apart from Gene's amzing performance, as always), but I love the way the characters are developed and their different reactions to the situation. Have you seen this one?

If you happen to find it, rent it (or buy it, or whatever), I think it makes one think a bit about how we all should live our lives, and the risks to take to find happiness.
Nothing too profound, it's something you can watch on a Sunday afternoon, but it's not bad at all. Beside Gene and Brian there are Ann Margret and Ellen Burstyn, so if you like good actors you have plenty here

What a great post...and such a hard choice. They're all wonderful men.

But I would have to put Brian at the top. I've always thought he has a special presence (sexy in a very commanding, but unassuming way). Take a look at 80s movies "First Blood" and "FX". He's hot.

I love Anthony Hopkins. Check out his earlier films, especially "The Lion in Winter". He is a barrel-chested hottie.

Bob Hoskins is always lovely. Although he played Edgar Hoover, his performance in "Nixon" is always a turn on for me.

And Gene Hackman is great...as an actor...a man...and a person.

I must admit I never have time (nor money ) to watch/own all the films I'd like to, so I've missed lots of films with these actors. I'd like to check out FX, actually (by the way, I agree with what you say about Brian's presence!).

Gene is certainly one of the greatest actors ever, and I guess that his keeping away from the spotlights and separating his private life from his work goes to prove that he's not that bad as a person, either

I notice that Brian and Gene are almost tie, I'm curious to see who's gonna win second place
