I think they have a very warm sound, that could put me to sleep :lol:
Probably because of the fact that some air remains in the bag after that you blow, and this allows a bass note to be playing costantly, which can be DEAFENING. It also bothers me when they're too loud... which happens most of the times.
But they can be nice if played gently...



What about the accordion, do you like it? :)

Notice I said simply honest. And as for judgement.... You specifically asked for individual judgements when you asked the question. Just because you don't like the response..... does not give you the right to try to judge it harshly.

No. I said the music was fine. Especially the Scottish music. I happen to enjoy the bagpipes, they are far more pleasant that what comes from you. The three choices you suggest as being horrible are not the worst part of this thread, having to read your posts IS.

Which brings us back to my original response, OPENING this thread is the worst, the music is actually a nice distraction from the shit.

There is still good element in bagpipes- ...."if" it played along with other instruments. It can't stand alone because bagpipes basically a musical instrument which can't carry a tune.
The most melodious musical instrument is "argueably" saxophone. Sax can follow human melisma and runs in notes, just amazing but it doesn't mean sax always create "good song"

the same with bagpipes, when it played appropriately in the right tempo, the right song- it will sound great
I.e= My heart will go on- bagpipes version actually not quite bad. ^^
