but not as good as Dr. Crusher I liked her the most.

I know I am almost totally alone in this opinion, but I really preferred Diane Muldaur as Dr. Pulaski to Gates McFadden as Beverly Crusher. I would have liked to see that character develop.

By the end of TNG, there was a very pronounced "soft focus lens" effect to shots of Dr. Crusher, a la Joan Collins in Dynasty.

I thought Riker was hot (when he was fit) he was always horny lol.

I really liked the relationship b/w Crusher and Picard. Wesley being a pseudo son to Picard. I remember the episode where they're psychically linked and he hated those elaborate breakfasts and she says "coffee and croissant"

janeway died like 10 times in the series...I think she sacraficed herself AND she was assmiliated by the Borg!

Noelie's video reminded me of the two Star Trek characters who consistently gave me a chubby: Chakotay and Harry Kim. I watched Voyager mostly because of them. But Janeway was kinda badass.

Pulaski was cool. Reminds me of a teacher I had in high school, down to earth and kinda rugged. Sadly, they sacked her cuz she was too old.

I never cared for Pulaski. She always struck me as gratuitously bitchy.

I think she knew her days were numbered. That's why she never really became a member of the cast in the opening credits.

I think one thing that made Voyager great was that it was made up of "villians" or characters that weren't perfect.

Half the crew were Maquis, Tom Paris was conscripted by Janeway out of prison and 7of9 is Borg.

It'd be rare to find just one of those elements on a starship let alone all 3

As I recall, one of the things that got frustrating to some of the Trek shop was that, while Gene Roddenberry was still alive, he kept really strictly to an "everyone on the crew must get along at all times" ethic. This was the ethic of TNG. Then after he died, the Trek shop purposefully opened up possibilities for intra-cast conflict that seemed to me a big part of both DS9 and Voyager. I agree, it made things more interesting. TNG was very "politically correct," it seemed to me (although I watched it faithfully while it was on!)

there was a comment Q made during one episode about Voyager being a ship of Valrykies. Which isn't too far fetched. Janeway was the captain, Torres was the chief engineer, 7of9 was duex machina, if they do future trek series i'd like to see more women in command

All were great, but I can't chose between Janeway and Sisko for best. Picard would be a close second to them.

I love Janeway!! she is to me the funnies captain. i also love 7 of nine , and the woman whoopi goldberg play, i cannot remember her name, lol

For me, it's Kirk!

Nobody could give a command like he did...
Nobody could chew scenery like he did...
Nobody could bag alien women like he did...

Shatner still rocks! :D

It was a tough call for me cause I love Kirk and Picard equally, but I judge the situation by Generations.

Picard gets his ass handed to him by... Malcolm McDowell... and Kirk kicks ass as usual.... Simple logic.

Janeway was my favorite, and Chakotay was just hot before he chunk'd out.....
