Nontraditional. :)

It was easier to make friends that way but I had both at one point. I loved my desk. I could hide stuff in there and these kids always tried to steal my saftey patrol belt and I threatened to tell on them. I was a badass.

When I was in school all that existed was the traditional classroom layout.

It was all traditional, mostly, even in high school. Although, I liked the way the desks were in the science hall; they were those large, industrial strength desks with slate tops that seated two.

Most of my classes had the traditional set up. Except for my Sociology class. That teacher had us push all the desks against the wall and we were in a semi-circle. God, I hated that teacher! He was such a pompous ass!

Traditional until 6th grade and then I went to a one-room schoolhouse with tables in a circle and pillows on the floor.

Mostly traditional, but one in 9th grade was a science class room. We had 4 to each lab table. The center had sinks, and places for test tubes etc. The interesting thing, in the back was a dark room for photo development. The teacher and some boys during class room break would go in there to smoke. No girls allowed. I would not go in there, since I was afraid of what else they might do.

Traditional. I started elementary school in the mid-50's. We had the old fashioned desks with ink wells in the upper right hand corner. (Though we weren't allowed to put ink bottles in them.)

We also had to use fountain pens in elementary school.

By the time I got to high school we could use ball points.

That all depends on what grade I was in and what class period I was in.

Mostly it was traditional since 7th grade. Non-traditional before. But in HS there weren't many desks, just tables.

Up till the 6th grade, it was nontraditional. Usually tables of some sort.

In middle school and high school it was the traditional classroom.

In college now, it is a combination of a tradtional and a semicircle/auditorium style sitting. the latter is quite fun because i can play footsies with the hot guys next to me :).
