Be it in fiction or IRL.

Mine is a toss-up between the anti-hero, and byronic hero.

The type Bonnie Tyler is always croaking about.

The hero of the hour, anything else seems exhausting.

I’ll go with byronic hero. I’m not into the Captain American goody-goody type. I find it kind of nauseating.

I am pretty much Byronic. I don't believe in untarnished heroes.

Baby look at what's happened to me
I can't believe it myself

Suddenly I'm up on top of the world
It should have been somebody else...

#12 on the old Tastee Sub menu board: salami and cheese.

I no longer allow myself to eat salami and cheese is basically just coagulated cow pus, so a few extra onions, some sauteed red peppers and some jalapenos will do just fine.

I'm going anti hero like Deadpool I have already established I would be using my powers in a gray capacity help others but also help myself!!

I'm not so sure Byronic captures the flawed hero, as it carries the added meaning of moody, etc.

Flawed hero is my choice, depicted as a less-than-perfect or pure, but nonetheless ready and able to stand in the gap when the crisis occurs, or in many alternate plots, to suffer long in order to see the redemption of another or salvation of the group.

The silent ones that never call attention to their hero deeds - that make you pay attention or you miss it.
