I would say deaf...

Because you could still communicate via sign language...

I was in a really bad car accident when I was 21 and completely lost my sense of smell (and 87% of taste) -- so if the question were broadened to ALL 5 senses -- I'd say smell (since it hasn't negatively affected my life)... :D

:):):)

As an artist, my first thought is to say deaf, but there are so many melodies that have brought me inspiration, strength and determination, I genuinely can't choose - so I'll let my maker choose if, and when, the time is right.

I would rather be deaf. All I would really miss is music, but that currently sucks, so no biggie. Plus, image all the dumbasses you would never have to listen to again.

deaf, I think.

I've been having vision problems with left eye caused by my sinsus surgery. I'm not enjoying having only one eye that works right.

Definitely deaf.

If I couldn't see the world around me, along with loved ones and friends, I'd probably grow incredibly depressed and suicidal.

With being deaf the only huge problem is communication, which there are ways around.

I would rather be deaf, so I could at least still see where i'm going, drive, go online etc. But, i'd really miss music if I were deaf.

As much as I would miss the sound of music, the pitter-patter of rain falling against the window, and of course, my boyfriend's voice...

I think I would prefer to be deaf rather than blind.

I'm a very visual person, I always have been, and I don't know what I would do if that were taken away from me. After all, most of my pass times involving having the need to see...

But, of course, on the reverse, I think it would be rather hard to be a deaf politician...

Blind. I feel like I'd die if I couldn't listen to my favorite music. Besides, if I was blind, I'd have a much easier time finding someone I don't mind sleeping with. I've already established a couple times that without my eyesight, I can still type and operate my computer to the extent of logging in, opening Winamp and doing a few other basic tasks.

Though I wouldnt want to lose either Id rather lose sight. My eyes have gotten me into too much trouble/heartache.

Concerning my future job, I can't afford losing both...but when nothing binds me, I'd rather be blind. I'm more aural than visual and hearing means very much to me.

I haven't got a sense of smell either. So many people look at me like I'm from Mars when they find out, nice to know I'm not the only one.
