I have those (four to be exact) under the head of my penis, almost symmetrical. If we're talking about what I think we're talking about (and I'm fairly certain we are) they're just penile papules, also known as pearls.

I have these too. I'm 24 and they grew when I was 16. A few of them have disappeared from my rubbing them with my precum with a finger. I can't get rid of the rest of them though. The only way I have found to get rid of them is by CO2 laser surgery. From what I've read it is a quick painless surgery and it will heal and look like normal from within a few days to 2 weeks.

The doctor will wither put a cream on your penis to numb it for surgery or stick you with a needle in your balls I think. The pictures I've seen after surgery are amazing. I'm gonna get this done as soon as I can afford it.

Apparantly a good treatment is also roaccutane which is usually used to treat acne although it works by shrinking the glands which create sebum, the skins natural oil, which is one of the causes of the papules.

yeah i got three symmetric lines of those sebaceous gland things about an inch below the head...i had a girl comment on them when i was like 16...i think they're kinda cool now, but for years i would get mad and try to pop them like pimples or something...sometimes even taking a straight pin to them. all that resulted was a little scab and then they came back in the exact same spot.

For those with the enlarged sebaceous glands-----

I used to have them a lot from a little more than halfway down my shaft and covering my sack but i have recently gone on accutane, for those of you who don't know what it is its an acne medication which alters the size and secretion of oil glands so when i started taking it, i was delightfully surprised that the bumps on my shaft went away completely and the ones on my sack shrunk to the point where sometimes i dont notice them anymore.
so just thought id throw that out there.

Very interesting! I have some of these, but they don't go all the way around the glans and they are less prominent. When I got HIV tested once, the nurse also wanted to do a mini-physical and tried to tell me they were HPV. I told him that that was funny because I had had them since before I was sexually active. It's weird though. I do have those two large ones under the glans. I wonder if it's genetic or something. I'd definitely feel awkward about asking my dad if he has bumps on his cockhead.

I have had these rise up on occasion and when it happened I tried, like someone else said, to pop them like a zit. I would accomplish that feat and they would be gone for a while, but eventually would return, but to a new part of the balls, shaft, etc. I also get this near my mouth, but not around the edges of the lips. It is actually in my lips. And, yes, I try to pop them as well and have been successful in that. I have never seen a doctor about the lip part, but once had this phenomenal female doctor that I asked about the genital stuff and she was like it is no big deal, your skin traps things sometimes and can flare up. She said it was more cosmetic than anything and was not a health threat. But it is good to hear that others have the same thing occassionaly in their lips. Actually, it is happening to me now. It has been about three months since the last time.
