White GOP men stand out in early voting

African Americans unfortunately continue to be the lowest on the economic totem pole + the Democrats are the party of free hand-outs and welfare programs. The Democrats keep minorities oppressed and self reliant on government. But it's bizarre to see how proud you are that the Democrats continue manipulating minority groups for votes. Democrats have a vested interest in keeping African Americans down. They need their votes.

Or to rephrase, Democrats value having a basic social safety net in society for the poor among us.

I've heard quite a few Republicans seriously suggest that we should just let the poor "die off" because they think that would make society better.

Altho I have laika on ignore, sometime I have to take a peek at what that mind is thinking. Notice how he describes everyone he disagrees with in a disparaging fashion.

"naive", "delusional" (one of his favorites), "immature", and one I love "pot meet kettle" when confronted with his insults.

He simply doesn't know when to quit and when he's licked. When backed into a corner he lashes out. You simply can't take him seriously and no matter what you say, you're wrong and he's right. His inability to hold a simple conversation is shocking.

CE&P guidelines state:

Agreed! While I don't always agree with him (especially on Israel & the US support) he never is clueless, dumb, or ignorant. That's far different than many on the other side of the aisle.

Conservatives just can't bring themselves to acknowledge ..... In their minds the only possible valid explanation is that Democrats are in for some massive conspiracy to make "voter slaves" out of black people. In the end, it really just reveals as you say a pattern of myths and conspiracy theories which the best of JUB's Freudian Slips let out, not to mention a low opinion of racial minorities themselves.

The case isn't that thin. Not-so-partisan black leaders have even seen the pattern.

Personally I doubt it was intentional (sorry, Alan Keyes); I just think it worked out nicely and they've run with it.

Dude ShortBeachTrail sounds like the lamest cause I've ever heard when you read the picture captions and read the blog from the guy.

The hospital people estimate that it's saved at good quarter million at least in emergency room and ambulance bills.

The road department credit it with saving the county road there.

The residents across the road from part of the project credit it with stopping the recurring landslides -- as does the water department; those slides used to dump water into the reservoir.

As for the picture captions -- they look like picture captions.
