My best friend and roommate in college (the first guy I ever came out to, actually, now that I think about it) is black and a complete bottom.
I mean, there are plenty of black guys that bottom for other black guys, and I imagine that there are plenty of white guys who love to top black guys. Maybe there's a cultural "manliness" thing influencing black men?
To the original poster in the thread though, maybe some people just aren't attracted to black men, just as there are black men that just aren't into white men? Does that make them racist? Probably about as much as not liking women makes you a sexist?
But anyway, a good friend of mine says he won't sleep with black men because he'd be self conscious that they would be treating him as a "conquest ("sticking it to", if you'd pardon the pun) of the white man".... a vestige of history that may never be shaken by many!

I grew up around a lot of guys of different races and nationalities. I have no racial hang ups. I'm bi-racial and can pass for black, polynesian and even Middle Eastern and I've been with lots a black guys, who are so called straight as well as straight acting guys, and to my surprise many of them like to bottom, to my delight. That's the problem with the U.S. This country is too race conscious. In Canada you're Canadian whether your ancestors are from Africa or not. The same goes for Brazil, France, the U.K. and many other civilized countries. It's sad.
