As Robyn Crawford's book would have it, she "struggled" with it. Unfortunately, Ms. Houston is dead and cannot comment. The Advocate has pronounced her "a gay icon." But is she?

What do you think?

She had the best voice i've ever heard and she pissed her talent away.

Tributes and awards are all very well but what a waste of life and talent.

I would say she is bisexual

If she was alive and only wanted to be with Robyn, then I would think she is gay

She may have been gay, but it wasnt good for her brand (at that time)

I like this song

I think some may say "I Will Always Love You" is the greatest song of all time

Chaka Khan !! Chaka Khan !! (Just un-masked on The Masked Singer)

Another great song

Loved her voice, and her cousin's Dionne Warrick. If she was gay I bet she kept a lot of women happy, she had a great set of lungs so imagine how long she could go muff-diving before she had to cum up for air ... :p

LOL

you're bad ;-) (and I spelled it properly. Did I spell 'spelled' properly? or is it spelt?)

She had an amazing voice when she sang no doubt!!!

One of the greatest vocalists of all time. Without her, there would be no Mariah (shut up, Christian!), Christina, Ariana, Kelly Clarkson or any of the other female pop and R&B girls that came along after her. Her struggles with her sexuality (and the alleged sexual abuse she and one of her brothers suffered at the hands of their cousin Dee Dee Warwick) played a big part in her self-destructive behavior. Her own mother said in an Oprah interview that she wouldn’t have accepted Whitney being gay or bi.

I think she was a Lesbian and I believe Robyn.

As with Phyllis Hyman I always thought it was an open secret.

I think she was bisexual.

It is such a tragedy of such an incredible talented singer and life that was just thrown away! Her daughter, Bobbi Kristina died tragically too! Very sad and tragic!

She was talented for certain but her inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seemed not right - the same reason Streisand or Dion or Carey shouldn't be included.
