Depending on age, in this order: A big box (like a TV comes in), toy cars (I wanted to be a car designer), my microscope, encyclopedia, spirograph. I really loved these little parachute men that I used to get at the drugstore for 25¢.

Either. I hate monotony--living in California for a year was hell for me.

I own a gorgeous, 100 year old prairie-style American Foursquare. Way too big for one person; will probably end up selling it in/after the divorce.

It's funny; for the past 5 years or so I hardly cried at all. I thought I was becoming inhuman. But coming out to myself in the past year has brought my old self out again. I had a good cry a week or so ago. Life is changing so quickly, it's hard to keep up with all the mixed up emotions.

OMG, I had a date! We biked together, showered together, ate dinner together, snuggled together, [edited to conform to family values] together.

I was very depressed for the past two years. But since coming out to myself, I've started regaining the infectious optimism that used to define my personality.

Conflict. Way too much of that as a child.
