I saw this very good talk the other day (will link it below) with this young lad, who is apparently very scientifically intelligent, and he passionatley keeps emphasizing the importance to think for your self and STOP learning, because he rightfully says that if your always learning others words, and trying to please teacher, your peers, etc, then that is not creativity.
I immediately had images of other videos I have seen of young children brought up in islamic tradition rocking back and forth as they have to memorize the verses of their sacred book the Koran. Recently there was a
tragic case here of a mother who was Muslim who tortured beat her young son to death because he wasn't memorizing the Koran correctly!!
THis same thing has been the plight of children brought in in Judeo-Christian tradition, Jewish tradition with the young boy having to sing verses from the Torah at his Bar Mitzvah and the young girl, Bat Mitzvah.
In secular culture millions of children have to attend the schools and are drilling relentlessly and examined where they are not encouraged to be creative. ANY daydreaming for example is forbidden.
What I encourage is questioning which is thinking also. Of course we learn. That boy in the video had obviously learned, but he is meaning that there has to be times you think for yourself. Psychedelic experience is the thinking for your self par excellence. Suddenly you do not even want to read. You try and read text and it seems absurd to do so lol. Reality, as it should be, is the real mystery, and you want to explore it and your own nature to the fullest. That is creativity isn't it. it is the real meaning of suddenly realizing that this here life, nature, this matter, your body, your self is unutterably, unspeakably
ALIVE.
Why it is very important to understand the roots of patriarchal thinking is because it denies this via its mythologies right up to its present one, scientific materialism, or phsyicialism.
Who created God?....................No.
