Just a reminder today that I love our two cats so much...even when Missy spends an hour in the middle of the night playing with her stuffed mouse at the bedroom doors and in bed so we can't sleep and her brother can't sleep so at 4 am they think we really should be having a snack and my night's sleep is ruined.

Norbu? Or Sengay Shimi Norbu as he is properly known?

He is 9, going on 10, And looks like a Himalyan snow lion, hence his name, which means 'big cat' 'little cat' precious gift' in Tibetan.

He is very big as you can see. And very, very, talkative.

Missy was brought in to our household as a gift for him after his brother E. B. died. They are wonderful companions now although he wasn't 100% sure at first.

We got him after he ended up at a gas station/convenience store near us and we took him in and advertised he had been found. His person at the time said that if we wanted him, we could have him because they hadn't 'bonded'. Which was so weird, because we bonded with him in about 2 minutes. He was about a year old at the time and had been adopted from a shelter and name 'Mr Darcy'...but he was not that. He was in terrible shape when they got him and was obviously a fighter as well as lover.
