i agree with you on paris hilton being a bad actress, but lindsey lohan is a fairly good actress. Acting is what lindsey is originally famous for, and paris's acting is just to pass time in her life.
just because lindsey parties like paris and fucks her life up like paris doesnt mean she's a bad actress like paris too
 
Jessica Alba is the worst. I can't think of one movie she did a good job in.

Lori Petty

Her performance in Tank Girl :sick:

That film makes me sick. Worst ever.
 
I'd remove Milla, Madonna, Cameron, and even Lopez from your list and Lindsay Lohan from the first poster's list. All five of them have demonstrated that they can give lead performances that do well enough in at least one critically acclaimed movie: Milla - Joan of Arc, Madonna - Evita, Cameron - Being John Malkovitch, Lopez - Selena, Lohan - The Parent Trap in her youth, Mean Girls in her current age group.

I'll give Aniston a reprieve for The Good Girl, but that's it.

The ones above may or may not being doing good films now, but they've shown that they can actually act, unlike Hilton, Reid (she didn't do much in The Big Lebowski to earn her any points), or Simpson.
 
I would add Katie Holmes to the list.....she ruined every scene she was in in Batman Begins. Isn't she being replaced in the next Batman movie? I thought I heard that, but wasn't sure.

You make good points. But I still think Evita was horrible, and Selena was boring. Never saw Being John Malkovitch.

I did like Milla's Joan of Arc movie though. :-)

I know, I know :-) I was just thinking about the Resident Evil 'movies' and Ultraviolet, one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I think Jennifer Aniston is a pretty good actress except she always does a weird throat clearing noise when she's acting. I notice it all the time in Friends, but I can't remember if she does it in her movies.

Curses on anyone who thinks Andie McDowell or Lori Petty are bad actresses;). I love both of them (although I never did see Tank Girl).

The only bad actress from your list is Paris Hilton.Milla Jovovich is 1 of the best actress.She is a good actress.Jennifer Lopez is a good actress.All the others in your list are average actress.

Tara Reid was convincing in Devils Pond.This movie is a thriller.She was not bad in that movie at all.

Jessica Alba is an average actress.

Madonna is not a bad actress.She was funny in Whos That Girl.She was good in that movie.A lot of people are not aware of it.Madonna was praise for her perfomance in the movie Dangerous Game.She is excellent in that movie.When you watch this movie.You see that she can act.Even those who are saying that Madonna is a bad actress.They are saying that she is a good actress in that movie.This is her best movie.Dangerous Game is a drama.Its a weird movie.If you watch Dangerous Game.You will be surprise by the perfomance of Madonna.In most of her movies.She is an average actress.

Well in my opinion they are bad, so thats why I said they were.
 
It's hard to watch Scarlet Johansson's movies because I'm not convinced by her acting. She looks like some amateur reciting lines. She's beautiful, but her acting seems fake. I used to like her, but I've found out that the movies that I've liked from her are the ones where she doesn't say much. Go figure. :rolleyes: Oh yeah, and her movieScoop was the worst, but I'm oddly interested in seeing The Nanny Diaries.
 
Lindsay Lohan is a very good actress. That's what makes her so tragic. If she had focused that energy into her career, she'd be on her way to an Oscar in a few years. Instead, she's on her way to prison and/or an early death.
 
Drew Barrymore was also 9 years old when she went down that path. She had her whole adolescence to grow up and become the person she is today. Lindsay is already an adult and has done a lot of damage to her career. It may be too late for her to redeem herself.
