While they aren't my favorite games, I do really like them. The problem I had with 2 was just that all you could do in Atlantica is the singing stuff. It made it rather boring. Had they just included the singing stuff with other things, maybe...

But yeah, they are great games.

Played them and loved them.;)

After seeing the ending of the final mix I am curious to see where they are going to take the franchise.

2 was lame. I'f they just HAD to include drive forms...they should of gave the bosses a shitload more of health. Drives made the game wayyyyy toooo easy. Seperoth was too easy also. I beat him at a low level. AND it needed secret bosses...because NONE of the boss fight were memorable. The only one I remember vividly is the one from Mulan...the stupid dragonfly thing...and thats because I was thinking," Oh my gosh this is the stupidest boss ever created"

KH1 was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better.

KH2 was still an O.K. game tho.

Man, I remember Sephiroth from the first one. That was very hard to beat. The second one...not so much.

I hope there is a 3rd one, but I haven't heard anything at all.

The first was OK the second one I didn't like at all. The story just seemed to be all over the place. And it never really made sense to me. And organization 13 only had like 6 members of the original 13 that you encountered... that was so stupid they should've just made it like organization 6 if there were only gonna be 6 bosses. I don't know. The storyline was jsut so needlessly convuluted. And there are parts in all RP that aren't fun they're just repetitive and aggravating like you have to run from one place ot hte next again and again and again... it seeemed this one had more of those type of quests.

The other half of the organization was in Chain of Memories which was released as an handheld game. They did make a version for the PS2 however it was only available in Japan when you bought the final mix of Kingdom Hearts 2. I wish they would have released it here in the states.:(

I love Kingdom Hearts. I would play both games for hours and hours and hours, and not get bored exploring. I liked story in 2nd but that's just me...although Kingdom Hearts *1* is better, for well, exploring/secrets. I was like gutted once I found KH2 was, well, "flat". .____.

I'm gonna buy KH: CoM to meet other half of Organization, but I'd like to fight them in 3D. Nice one, Square Enix. -.-b

EDIT: EDIT: EDIT: Sorry! I noticed I said KH2 was better than KH1...that isn't the case! ^^;;; KH1 is my favorite of the series.

I played the first one and it was decent, but I felt it was a bit easy for an action RPG. Haven't played the second yet and dont really have an intention of doing so.

Yeah, I agree its bit easier. However, Expert does makes it more..tricker. Still not hard, as once I mastered it its becoming easy.

Kingdom Hearts 2 was WAY easier though. I only died like few times on my first time, compared to KH1 being dying more than "few times" XD

^^^I pretty much agree with the above. I played the 1st one, I kinda liked it. I never got around to playing the second one. I love the concept, Disney meets Final Fantasy or whatever, I just think it could have been executed a little better.

I played II and it was a chore. Anyway, Im not good at games and I played on Proud mode so I easily became frusterated from dying. So i had zero fun.

They're def too easy in my opinion. They're like the training wheels for real RPs because they know the disney angle will attract young ones in droves so they can't make them too difficult.

Dude...The main bosses on KH1 one were more visually stimulating then hard. I mean...who in here didn't think "OMFG" when you fight Urcella in her big form. Not that it was hard...it was just tight as fuck to beat her ass. Same with the Demon on the mountain from Fantasia.

There WERE some hard bosses tho on KH1... 1st one that comes to mind is the secret boss in the Desert. Low Level + Hard Boss = :( I mean omfg...that thing kicked my ass so many times. And I would always get him to the red...and he would go all hyper mode and kill me. I think one of the most challenging bosses tho was the Phantom secret boss in Neverland...that bitch kept casting doom on my people and NO ONE FUCKING TOLD ME THE SECRET TO THAT BATTLE. So yea...if you don't know what your doing on that one...it can be a VERY fustrating boss battle. I think one of the hardest for me was The Ice Titan tho.

Haha yeah, the Phantom could be tough if you didn't know the secret to beating him.

Now, that one in the desert...that one killed me A LOT. Took me quite a while to finally kill it.

The Ice Titan was hard for me until I figured out the strategy to beating him. And I learned which certain things NOT to do.

Now, I just picked up KH2 again today (because I started it just before FFXII came out, and come one, priorities), and having played for about another 42 hours, I realize I'm on the last level and the game is almost over and I am very sad... I actually really enjoy both the Kingdom Hearts (to the point that I'm bidding on Chain of Memories on Ebay), and I WANT a #3... come on, Disney used TRON for Fuck's Sake, I'm sure they've got plenty of decent movies left in the vault... I mean, replace Ariel with Nemo or something, give me another Keyblade to obsess over!!

*rant complete*

I want a #3 really badly too. I'm sure they could bull it off if they just tried, but I haven't even heard of development being done. :(

Ive only played II and not being a experienced gamer I thought Proud mode would be easy(as its a disney game)and had a somewhat horrible experience. I did finish it however, I felt it was like a chore. But you guys do know that their making sequals, prequals for the the DS, PSP and highend cellphones right? The PSP one looks really good and I may get once it comes out.

I love Kingdom Hearts, I just recently finished game number 2 (I did skip the Hades cup 'cause it annoyed the hell out of me, but I think I finished everything else, including Sephiroth). I'm replaying KH1 now in expert mode.

I honestly didn't like the drive modes in KH2, I hardly ever used them and they made gameplay too easy. And the all those limit attacks just seemed pretty pointless to me, I mean I could do a lot more damage using my MP to cast Thundaga rather than doing that Knocksmash thing with Goofy or something like that. I also missed the Aeroga spell from #1.

But #2 has many advantages that #1 doesn't have, like the ability to skip scenes, oh dear how I hated having to watch the same 5 minute cutscene dozen of times just 'cause I couldn't beat a certain boss.

Is it just me or is the final boss in these games always one of the easiest ones?

I really do not like Kingdom Hearts. Only played the first one cause I didn't like the first so playing the second one would be stupid.

It was ok at first. Didn't seem too bad but after a while the novelty of it all (and the game is really built on novelty) wore off and I was just left with a repeatitive action rpg where I had to travel with Donal Duck and Goofy. Sora was an anoying little bitch as well.

Didn't help I've never really liked Disney though. Except Basil the great mouse detective. That films awsome. The Disney Pixar films are also quite good. But most of the classic disney I really don't like.

I love Final Fantasy though but the FF characters just seemed like bit characters and just there for cameo's.

I have tried to play it since desiding I didn't like it but 10 minutes in and I was reminded why I stopped playing and put it down promptly.
