Who is the closest gay relative you have (if any)?

My father's side of the family is huge. I think I have 30 first cousins. But as they're a rural conservative sort, it's not surprising that I haven't heard of any being gay. They may be - just haven't heard.

My sister's engaged to a guy. She revealed to me recently that, three years ago, she went out with a woman, made out with her, and thought it was "absolutely awesome"...but decided not to pursue a relationship with her. I'm guessing that at least gives her "bi-tendencies", and could make her count.

The only open case for me is that my eldest cousin is a lesbian. Does that count?
 
MY aunt is gay, she isn't specifically out but everyone can tell.
 
After two deaths from AIDS I no longer have any close relatives that are gay left
 
My mother's side of the family is rather distant (and quite large) but of the ones I know, no one is gay.

My father's side of the family is very close (and quite large too) and I know of one cousin (who was my father's double cousin) who came out, was banished, and eventually returned. He died of AIDS in the 90s. It was traumatic for the whole family. I think his brother is gay also, but after the whole situation with his brother, there is a don't ask, don't tell policy!

Well, it makes me think that all my family rejects me because of that, or that they are nice to me in front of me, but in my back they just....

I don't know of any. All of my relatives live in Japan, so I don't even get to talk to them.
 
I'm the only out gay person in my family.

My brother is straight (really), but has several nonsexual crushes on his male friends.

My cousin on my stepdad's side is gay, but no one talks about it. He's lived with his "friend" for several years, now.

We're all fairly certain that my dad is gay, but he'll probably never come out.

I have a younger cousin on my mom's side who is probably gay, but I don't know for sure.

A lot of the men in my mom's family crossdress to some extent, but they're straight.
 
I'm the only one that I know of. But you never know who'll surprise you.
 
I have a closeted, extremely homophobic cousin. He's always saying macho anti-gay bullshit. I actually caught him slobbering on one of his friend's cock. He hates the fact that I caught him. He got married, but it didn't last.
 
My god father (or should I say fairy god mother) who was also my much older cousin. Unfortunately he's no longer with us (that's a topic for another thread).
