The only drawback in my gym is that the sauna/steam rooms are mixed. Really do prefer single sex for these so you can go naked.

In Europe, a lot of the mixed sauna/steam rooms are nude only, in fact they'd tell you off if you were wearing swim suits or undies. A lot of people swim in the nude in hotel pools too, I was quite shocked when I saw a couple swimming in the nude in a hotel pool for the first time when I was in Switzerland, it gave me an instant hard on which I had to hide right away. I've also been to mixed onsens/hot springs in Japan, but there're usually not many females around which is understandable. ;)

There's a gym in Covent Garden that's got the perfect changing / shower room. The showers are a big open square space. No curtains, partitions or anything. One side opens directly into the changing room. Impossible not to get an eyeful!

Unfortunately most councils cater to some absurd paranoia - I once went to a pool with a shower right next to the pool, mixed for men and women. I asked where the men's showers were and was told they'd been taken out. Effectively you had to shower in your swimming trunks! It was like the place had been designed by people who had never been swimming...

Communal showers are a big fetish for me, probably because my mates used to play around in them as we were growing up. A wank after PE, and more than that after rugby practice after school was the 'done thing'.

There was a city pool I used to go to when I was younger - and I used to check out the guys in the shower. I couldn't help but stare sometimes at the guys with really big cocks. I love being naked in public showers, beaches and almost anywhere you can think of. There are no nude beaches here, but I get nude anyway if I think I can get away with it.
At public showers in non-nude places, I almost always lower my swim trunks to get the sand and salt off.
When I get in the sea, I usually take my trunks off immediately and will be nude only a few feet from non-nude people!
