TonyBoy was the first to welcome me, and affirm me. I had remarked that I was a lot older than many, maybe most people on the site, and he made me feel I had something worth sharing. This was enormously encouraging, and I have never forgotten it.

Knowing I was deaf, I now have learned that I turned a blind eye to the post comments. I want to appologize to so many of you for your kindness that I knew nothing about. I had some tears when I went back to the earliest one I could find. I found a lot of affirmation and I am very appreciative of that.

I will pay more attention in the future. But as far as I can tell, the first comment was from Effortless pro who said the very nicest word to me, "Thanks!" Please, all of you, forgive me this eggregious oversight on my part.
This is a good lesson in humility for me. Thanks.

I've long since forgotten what the first one was, but I know of late it's been positive comments from JR, Kennyworth, Absolut, Croynan, G-mo, Cirque and many others that have meant a LOT to me...

Wow, I got 2 guys? You boys sure it didn't say BWAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAAH!! That's what I normally type as I get rather bored with LOL. But I have used LOL on occasion.

Sadly, I can't remember his name. As far as I can remember, it was someone that welcomed me when I posted my "Spank me, I'm new!" thread in the newbie forum. I don't even think he's talked to me since then. But what he wrote was really nice. It was something to the effect of, "Looking forward to you sharing your wisdom with the board."

Very sweet.
