I totally forgot about it till just now when i was on another site and they were talking about it.

Yeah MTV deleted EVERY single Daria episode people posted on YouTube.....I used to reminisce all the time on YouTube watching old Daria stuff (luckily I have some downloaded on my computer hehe....)

Oh wow I miss this show SO MUCH! It aired the same time I was in high school so I think we all related to it at the time.

Remember how it used to come on the "10 Spot" on MTV weeknights??

I AM Daria. It was the best show.

For anyone wondering, the main reason why it's never been released on DVD is because the show made heavy use of current popular music as its soundtrack. That's made for a very difficult challenge of obtaining the rights to those songs in order for MTV to release the series on DVD.

I was borderline OBSESSED with Daria back in the day. I have the two TV movies they did on DVD. I wish they would up and release the seasons on DVD already! I guess there's been a petition going around online for awhile now for the seasons to have a proper DVD release. Hope someone finally listens! Stop the torture, already!!!

Unfortunelty i think it just wasnt as popular as it's father(Beavis and butthead) or its brother(King of the Hill) show, though it has a strong following of the concentrated people who watched it.

I think the suits at MTV only will give a blowjob to things that are mega-successful, unless sumthing spectacular happens to make them change thier mind, ei. Family Guys mega success on adult swim which ultimately brought the three seasons to dvd, and ultimately broughtt it back on the air.

They can make money by maybe releasing it as a small package and a limited number to make profit with the small fanbase and then working thier way up if it sells.

we may NEVER see her on dvd. What a great show it was, and really the only worthy child to Beavis and Butthead.
