I liked it to a point but it was basically like watching the movie to me nothing new or different:(. What do you guys think?
 
I like the Terminator series and I was quite surprised by the episode and the continuity... If they didn't acknowledge Judgment Day people would just complain about the lack of continuity... And how was it nothing new or different?! We're learning what happened to Sarah Connor. What happened to her after T2 and before T3 is unknown.

I saw a lot of new stuff in the show.

I was quite surprised to see Summer Glau in the show. I like her character.

I'm looking forward to the series.
 
I think it has some potential. Will it live up to the hype...no one knows yet.
 
I liked it and I'll probably watch it regularly. But I don't like how they've pretty much cancelled T3 out.
 
I enjoyed the premiere tonight. I'm just debating whether or not I'm going to miss Raw to watch part 2. I'll probably switch between channels.
 
I like it, but $5 says fox cancels it because fox cancels everything. lol
 
Personally i thought t3 was a damn mess. they shoulda never made it. especially since t2 was so awesome. cancelling out t3 was one of the few ideas that was good.

the casting i have issues with. mainly sarah connor. i love lena headey in 300 and she is very talented. but i think she is soo wrong for this role. especially since linda hamilton's portrayal is so iconic. she became this muscular beast. lena is just this dainty little woman. making mean faces doesn't make up for the fact that she is not the least bit tough. summer glau is actually not bad. i knew she could do something like this since she was river in firefly. the boy has a good look but he's just not a good enough actor. he really needs to practice. maybe he'll get better. this pilot was made nearly 2 years ago so he had time to beef up his acting. they shoulda got marshall allman from prison break instead.

and finally i'm not buying sarah conner shacked up in some whirlwind romance situation. i call shenanigans!

I watched it. And I really like it, I love all 3 movies. And I think this show will do the character of Sarah Connor justice. And that we will get some insight on what she did after T2. Because when I was watching T3, and I seen she died. I wondered what kind of untold stories existed with the character. The only thing I hate is the time slot. Because I watch WWE Raw on Mondays, and the show comes on during Raw. But I have a VCR so I think I can watch Raw. And set the VCR to record Terminator, and watch it later I don't know I think of something LOL. But I think I will put this show on my TV list. And watch it regularly.
 
It was pretty good and since the strike is occurring with not a lot on I'll probably continue watching it. I agree some of the acting early in the pilot was kinda bad so here's hoping it picks up. Also this is probably the 5th or 6th thread I posted something similar to this but I preferred Thomas Dekker in Heroes.
 
I liked it... didn't love it, but liked it enough to watch again. I was really unimpressed with the Sarah tho'. She doesn't do tough well.

It didn't bother me that they kind of ignored the last movie (it didn't bother me with Superman Returns, either). At least they explained it by starting it in 1999--before T3 took place.
 
This is hubby's kinda show but it was better than I expected. Compared to the debit of Bionic Woman, at least I kept my hands off the remote for the full hour.
Critics liked the debut generally but said the new epi tonight wasn't as strong. Time will tell. And there is the Fox cancellation factor to consider as well. Thinking Drive and Vanished most recently for us.

Tonight's epi wasn't as strong, but let's face it, there's nothing much left on in network primetime especially Monday since we have no interest in the new incarnation of Dance Fever.

I knew I'd seen her before. Thank you. The show is not bad I'll continue watching it. I think the second episode was better.
 
I actually liked this episode a lot better than the pilot, I'm definitely going to continue watching the remaining episodes.
