Who will play the gay couple on Wisteria Lane?

Lance Bass and Jason Bateman. Said, word. Well, it would be interesting, but I'm guessing the couple would probably be in their forties. Oh well, you heard it here from a now nothing guy from Louisville. Hey, it could happen. Stop laughing.

As for the ratings- DH was huge in its first season. I enjoyed Season 1 the most so far, but have yet to get bored with the show since.
The ratings went down in S2 because it wasn't as well written as it was before, and viewers picked up on hat.
S3 started off very good, but when Bree left for the remainder of the season, that dealt a major blow to the ratings, IMO.
This new season looks like its going to excellent from what I've read and seen. The ratings will be back I ensure you. As long as nothing unexpected happens behind the scenes like last year.

ABC wouldn't cancel DH unless it dropped out of the top 20 every week. And I don't see that happening for a few more years.

Your analysis isn't great, but you made some good points. I do agree that the character Bree may have contributed to the ratings going down, but the ratings were on a slide even before the character Bree left. So its not a good excuse, but still Bree is a huge character on the show.

Its never a good sign when the former #1 show on the network.. ratings are not even close to its season 1 success or even the number 2 season. A trend is happening, and Marc better have something good under his sleeve.

I also never made mention that ABC would cancel DH if it continues it ratings slide. That would be silly.. its still in the top 15 list. But when a show loses its audience.. it means the show is losing the casual viewer, and interest in the show is taking a hit. Although the faithful will continue to watch, which will keep it afloat.

Thank You.

Jason Bateman would be a hot addition to the show! Will Arnett's pretty hot too.
Arrested Development reunion on DH?????

Jason Bateman would be great as the more straight-laced half of the couple. I don't know about Lance Bass...

Why in the hell would David Beckham do that? Sorry, but that's a little too far fetched for that to be true. Unfortunately they won't last long since that house is cursed. Everybody always moves when they live in that house. I'm disappointed that they stopped the molester storyline. It seemed like that they could have had a lot of storylines from that neighbor.

Well, to be technical about it, the last resident of that house died. Alma fell from the roof while trying to escape the attic and save Bree.
The molester, Art Shepard, lived in Mary Alice's old house across the street. He moved after his sister died of heart failure.

:-)

Thanks for the updates - I had forgotten that I started this thread. I guess it was Access Hollywood that I was watching - I tend to switch back and forth between shows at that time, depending on how annoyed I get with one of the announcers.

Yes, it is announced: Kevin Rahm (Judging Amy) and Tuc Watkins ( who has played gay chracters before-now on a soap opera). Hope they can steam up the show which was rather limp last year.

You had to look that up on Wikipedia to make me look bad...

Tuc is hot and is said to be gay off screen but dosent like to talk about his personal life.

Tuc Watkins of "One Life to Live" has been reportedly cast as one half of the gay couple.

Tuc is amazing! He's sexy, charismatic, witty. He has a very dry sense of humor in his acting and line delivery. In fact, I've wondered for years why now he hasn't made it big in primetime or film, because he's a terrific actor -- comedic and otherwise.

Here's a few pictures and a clip...

Tuc Watkins!!! Yes!!

Ok, I can see it now: he's the one who Susan pisses off so to get revenge, he has an affair with Mike!! Yowza!!

I heard it as well; they have signed Kevin Rahm and Tuc Watkins to play the gay couple. Watkins will play a country boy who leaves the big city for the country life, and Rahm is his bitchy partner

I've had a crush on Kevin since Judging Amy. This should be good.
