Who will the nominees be?

Sanders and Rubio.

Sanders will get it because people will get to know him. They will realize he believes and wants the same things as they do. People will wake up and want a party that is left of center. Bernie will help America get one once again.

Rubio will get it because he is young and everything the GOP wants. Trump and Cruz don't stand a chance. Rubio just has to not fuck up too bad.

It is absurd to think that "the people" want higher and higher taxes per Sanders. Of course, the welfare class does and soon, they will control the country, but not yet. Sander is just trying to buy the voters with other people's money. Steal from voters and buy votes from the welfare class. At least the Koch brother use their own money.
Rubio has the advantage that he can almost certainly carry Florida, the most important swing state. Both parties will need to have a hispanic on the ballot, since the hispanics are such a large segment. Bush would serve that purpose but he probably will not take the VP nomination. He has a Mexican wife, fluent Spanish, and a Catholic.

So...just to be clear...are you saying that you agree with the Republicans about Hillary Clinton? Is that "the point" they have in common with you?

Hillary appeals to a lot more than a "thin slice" of Democrats. I could give you many examples but I suspect it won't make a bit of difference. This is why I never respond to Republican shills anymore...been years now since I learned that valuable lesson..and I learned it well. It saddens me that I would have to add The Berns to that category...but I know better than to try to teach a pig to sing..and I prefer to waste my time with more enjoyable pursuits....

psssstttt...I am not even close to being a moderate on the political spectrum..

If I want to talk to a wall..I have four perfectly beautiful walls to talk to and the great thing about talking to a wall is...it already KNOWS it is a wall....

Lol yeah, the reason she still has a huge lead in almost every state is because she's an evil "basically Republican" bitch and only the "lowest of the low", the utter dregs of humanity support her. I mean, what's not to agree with?

Sugarpplum, Rubio can't carry a SPEECH, let alone a state...

The majority will pay the same they do now or less.

Bennie doesn't do math. Math is of science, and science is of the devil.

The majority will pay the same they do now or less.
The majority pay no income taxes now.
No doubt many of them want other people to pay higher and higher taxes, but tax payers are people too, so "the people" do not want higher taxes.

Saving thousands a year on health insurance compensates the tax increase.

Ugh, I'm actually responding to him. Like, with serious answers. Wtf is wrong with me?!

There's absolutely no way of knowing, Democratic polls are tight and the GOP nominee may have to be decided at the convention.

We all do it......because uncontested....his lies get more and more outrageous as he loses touch with reality.

If you are speaking to or about me roly, I have had you on ignore for several, so you cannot have the fun of being rude to me.

There's no end to how irrelevant that is to me :)

It's actually more fun being rude to him while he pretends not to read your posts - though sometimes he just can't help himself.

OK, and this: Because there are an even number of states, and therefore 50 votes, what happens if there's a TIE? …

In that case, does the Speaker of the House have a tie-breaking vote?

But isn't it also a conflict of interest that he is in the line of succession?

If the House of Representatives is unable to muster enough votes to give any candidate the required majority, the Vice President (elected by the Senate) would serve as President until the House of Representatives successfully elects the President – which could conceivably include the entire duration of the term.

www.ibtimes.com/charles-koch-blasts...firm-has-taken-195-million-worth-them-2034949

Looks like the Kochs have taken $195 million in tax breaks from other people's tax dollars...

That's around about the same amount of taxes in total paid by 14,000 average American households in a year.

...That leaves the Senate...and since some Democrats are actually conservative

have you noticed the power of propaganda at all in the past 20 years? The Republicans will have the EASIEST job they have had in the past 20 years with Bernie.....and the public WILL be frightened of him....the more they "get to know him".
AT LEAST the Senate cannot be Gerrymandered, because the office is ALWAYS voted "at large" statewide, never divided within a state. Of course there are a few state borders which, themselves, were Gerrymandered in a way of speaking - West Virginia is the most obvious one - but those were all generations ago and the original reasons generally no longer exist.

As brought up in another thread - I don't know much about his attributes of being Jewish and whether he's observant at all, etc. - I've seen suggestions he's closer to atheist. WHICH FOR ME IS NOT AN ISSUE - if anything it's a favorable attribute - but if true, the general public doesn't accept that, and Republicans would repeatedly bludgeon him with it, and that alone could sink him.

I landed left of Ghandi ...as far left as you could go actually. I think there was a 1/2 square left before I touched the border of the chart. Politically...I am a Socialist..
Uh, um....WAIT...if you have a map in front of you, going "as far left as you could go" - doesn't that put you on the WESTERNMOST part of the map? That means that if you have a map of Eden in front of you, you no doubt end up WESTofeden. :p (*8*)

Indeed...but it would be southwesteden since it was bottom left:lol:....

I felt a little lonely over there on the chart.....by myself....that board was filled with neocons who I tried to reason with...until I realized what a paid shill was..and that I was fighting daily propaganda and talking points...not real people....

In other words..I was their bitch...ugh....

No. The 195 million is money the governments did not collect. It did not come from other people.

It is from other peoples dollars, because it either contributes to the debt....or other people end up having to pay more to make up the shortfall.....simple economics.

You have no defense for the oligarchical tax cheats like the Kochs.

None.

OK, how in the hell can Hillary have more delegates (44 to 36) than Bernie? She *TIED* in Iowa, and lost big in NH. How did she get MORE delegates in New Hampshire than Bernie did? This is totally fucked up.

What's this shit with Super Delegates? I've been trying to figure that crap out for a number of election cycles now, and it seems to be extremely undemocratic and very possibly bordering on electioneering fraud. (And, yet, the Republicans go after individuals who want to vote, where voter fraud is extremely rare.) Shouldn't the Republicans be LIVID about this obvious favoritism within the Democratic Party itself?

The Super Delegates thing HAS been explained to me before, but that doesn't help me understand it.
