I know this subject has come up before in the past and seems a little silly but whenever I go into a Whole Foods or B&N I notice my gaydar starts going off like crazy. It's not only going off on a lot of the male customers but also the employees. Kind of hard to explain if you've never been there but it's similar to walking into a A&F (never purchased anything from A&F but still fun to look at their eyecandy ads).

I realize just as many straights shop at these stores but there's also a lot of gay guys shopping here too. Maybe they know something I don't or maybe it's because I notice gay guys more often than straights when out and about:confused:

Mostly at Whole Foods I notice a lot of thoughtless privileged assholes with no sense of personal space.

I dont really read but im planning on going to B&N tomorrow actually I will keep you posted.

Only thing I see are people doing homework, kids, and more kids

Whole foods?

The first place a guy stared at my ass, well first time I caught a guy looking at my ass. Plus its the one in D.C so go figure...

But again mostly kids and elderly people. Going again this Friday. :)

/\ I thought it wasn't just me with Whole Foods. These were locations out in the burbs, kind of surprising but then again not really.

Zerlock, cruising? I'm just trying get some shopping done. If someone's looking for a boyfriend that I understand but cruising... [-X

The place I see a lot of gay guys going to...

Gay bars...tons of them in there.."more than you can shake a stick at." :D

But yeah...Barnes and Noble...TOTALLY GAY!!!

Whole Foods especially...

But in Sarasota it's mostly elderly, wealthy yacht-owning types that want to buy you new clothes first, and maybe a new car by the afternoon....

I don't have a Whole Foods in my area. The closest thing would be The Fresh Market. Everytime I go in there, all I see are wealthy-looking old folks.

I do agree with B&N though. Me and my friend agreed that it's a gay haven. I saw one gay-looking guy with a very nice ass there; had to stop and stare for a moment. And like you said, the employees seem gay too.

lol, yeah shocking isn't it...?

I was in B&N studying on the second floor
during finals; I was cruised by several guys
over the course of four days. One of the guys was
just so damn hot I nearly passed out! He had flip flops on
with basketball shorts and a A&B Fitch shirt (yes I remember everything )

Nothing ever became of the innocent jesters and staring, but
it was definitely noticeable.

Well, that's OK. If they're around your age and hot. (!) Seems like he was flirting, I need to hang out at B&N more often.

Trader Joe's, how can I forget about that store. Lots of gay guys shopping there also.

You guys can have Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods, I'll stick to Books-A-Million and the typical grocery store like Publix, Kroger. Get in and get out while ignoring those who are there for the WRONG reasons...[-X

Hey, you live in Georgia too!

Meh, Books-A-Million doesn't compare to B&N.

On the other hand, I hit up Publix all the time. They're much cheaper than The Fresh Market but you're still able to buy quality products. Unlike Kroger.

I was recently in the Barnes and Noble near my house. I found myself getting a little pissed because of the over representation of right wing extremist authors.Way too many of them compared with other, more left leaning titles..

As if that wasn't enough,I noticed I was getting cruised by this guy that looked like someone set his face on fire and tried to put it out with a rake..

Bad day at Barnes and Noble..

Was his face that bad?

Gays do show at Whole Foods here, but it's also bohos, hippie-types, and suburban parents who like buying organic stuff.

Barnes & Noble? Come on - no homosexual reads books. Well, *I* do, but none you'd want to have sex with, anyway.

Really, I never noticed. How about Borders? Same thing?

Actually, there is a Borders around here that I have heard is a cruising site...not from first hand experience though...|

Damn...just finished READING a book I purchased at Barnes and Noble....

Here it's the Books-A-Million. The cruising was so bad they had to start locking the bathrooms up.

"Code 1, Zack Code 1"

They'd announce over the pa if anyone was going back there.

Yeah, he called you "hunny". And I for one know WHY he called you hunny.

Three snaps with a New Kids on the Block freeze pose at the end.
