I'm going to practise on these poor old buggers. The trouble is, they only cost me about £30 in 2006 and I must have spent about the same amount on new heels over the years. The Saphir Médaille d'Or shoe cream he uses is eye-wateringly expensive but they also make a cheaper version (less strong pigment) called Beauté du Cuir. He charges around $100 for a shoe makeover.

^ I have a pair of boots that I wore almost every day this winter, most days out burning brush and doing yardwork and coincidentally this past week...thought that since I had the time on lockdown, I would give them some love.
Some Dubbin and buffing and they looked so good that I could wear them with my casual dress pants/jacket and dress shirt. The marks on them make them look vintage.
My favourite shoes are all at least 20 years or older; great shoes never really go out of style.

My spouse has been getting home early from his shifts at the hospital, so he is home before I even get out of bed. He is an amazing cook so he has been making all sorts of new recipes. As I am disabled and almost blind, he does all the shopping and runs all the errands. It is great that he likes to stay busy. Right now he is in the back room taking inventory of our food supply, it sounds boring to me, but he thrives doing such things. We also have a lot of fun together. I'm the kitchen assistant and clean up manager. We are going to start working out too because of all the good food that he is making.

It's in my sisters care home. It was confirmed last week.
They didn't give her or any of the staff enough protective equipment so she obviously got coughed all over but that was about a week ago. At the moment nobody in the house has shown any symptoms, but at this point there isn't much we can do now over them hope we don't.
I am pleased to say that the man she's caring for is getting better from it. He was released from hospital back into the home and he's doing a lot better.

Damn they looked fugly and truly gross, not sure whether their wigs enhance their yuckiness, or it's their natural skankiness what enhances the wigs' ickiness... and they are supposed to be the real thing there, not a lampoon!!
That's the sort of thing that would make me sick to death if I were a very black person (I have always assumed I have "drops" in me) smarting under white supremacy.

Not only has social distancing and staying home caused a drop in the pollution levels, but I imagine there has been a drop in the spread of other illnesses too like the flu.

I'm just worried because American meat processors have been hit so hard. There is a real concern that the food supply will be affected by all the shutdowns in the food supply chain.
