I never thought of myself as a "redneck". Quite funny

Pay him no mind. It's his new favorite slur.

^ Only the insecure, self-conscious would take my usage of it as a slur

Anyway, everyone knows that all the American are rednecks, like all Euros are trash.

We're so bad at finding effective means of moderating life with the virus. My local grocer cut its hours from 24 to twelve. It just concentrates more people in the store at the same time. With restaurants shuttered, you'd think grocers would try to expand hours for the increased demand...but no. And of course the Starbucks there is packed with three or four employees in a 15-foot kiosk trying to keep up, mostly unmasked. No limits on number of customers allowed inside. There's a kid who wipes down all the carts and baskets, good. But the touch screens at the self-scan stations don't get much attention.

Ugh.

This is my experience too and I don't get. In my job I have to do a lot of banking for clients. Many banks have closed most of their branches, and those remaining that are open, are on reduced hours. The lineups to get in are long and slow. How does this help public health? I understand the need to limit the number of people in the branch at one time, but the rest just feels like maximum aggravation for no benefit.

Is its sense of this broken, or rather my understanding of it what is broken?

Does that really mean that the 5G smartgrid was built (planted) to spread the new corona?

^ "Back to normal life" = taking 'important things and people' for granted.
